*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

We are really sorry to inform you that DPD has suspended services from the UK to EU countries due to port delays and issues with new processes following Brexit.

The situation is under review and we hope to start shipping again in the second half of next week. In the meantime, your order has been placed on hold to ensure it does not accidentally ship and get lost in the DPD network.

We completely understand that you may wish to cancel your order in these circumstances. Please use this form and we will process the refund for you:

RTX 30 Series Queue Updates: Please note that you will not receive a queue update while your order is on hold. We can assure you that your order will remain at the same position in the queue and you will receive updates again once shipping recommences.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience.

Kind regards
Overclockers UK

That's not cool.... not cool at all.
If they get at least 7 of 3080 Ventus before "second half of next week" I will be seriously ****** off. Closing in on 4 months since I ordered.
How about making additional shipping arrangements? DPD said they hope to resume middle of next week, but this could easily extend beyond Wednesday.

This is my point like are they going to hold onto cards for people who are outside the UK until they can ship them if they are within the amount of cards that came in on a select day, or they can just ship with DHL even, I recently ordered a chillys bottle and it mentioned the DPD stuff but I could just change it to ship with DHL Express.

Zotac must be socially anxious, not a peep about any shipments. I don't blame ocuk for the record I'm just disappinted in Zotac.

if anyone cares I went from 27 to 25. Let's hope the next trinity non-oc shipment has at least 25 pcs.

Pos 21 for MSI Trio X (ordered around 15:30 on the first day)

I’m starting to dream; kind of hopeful to have something by the end of January.

Can’t wait to give cyberpunk a go and a second play through of Alyx :D

DLSS is only available in certain titles and requires support from nVidia to implement. I am not saying 10GB isn’t enough, it’s just on a card targeted at 4K gaming they are being very stingy. The other consideration is the effect on memory bandwidth of a narrower memory bus.
I do not think it is targeted at 4K gaming in any way, it may be capable to play some games at 4K but is still not powerful enough to provide the high framerate and all the bells and whistles at the same time some seem to expect nowadays.
Better off sticking to 1440p etc until more powerful and less power hungry hardware comes along, it will be a lot more enjoyable and have all the goodies you want.

@Gibbo I don't suppose you have any news/information on the topic of the Suprim? Was mentioned quite some time ago but nothing further.

[edit] Appreciate all the communication as of late and your efforts chasing the manufacturers and suppliers, thank you.

@Gibbo First of all, thanks for your hard work trying to fulfill the backlog of orders.

Just curious - you had posted some time ago about MSI 3080 SUPRIM cards with several options to make these available - potentially to those who have ordered the GAMING X TRIO 3080s.

Was there a decision made on this and when do you intend to push this forward? If you can share that information at this stage.

@Gibbo can we get any further update on the whole queue pause for outside of UK. Like what if someone is within the amount of cards that come in for their order, will you guys hold onto the card for them or what? Or will you use a different courier like DHL instead for the meantime if this whole issue goes beyond Wednesday.

Because of DPD are on hold I have been informed my Queue position is on hold? I was at 221 before Christmas. I am in Ireland so the way things are now. I may as well cancel my order and try to find a card in the EU. Its a great shame and I know OCs are doing there best.

From what I have read and seen, DPD have put a hold on delivering to EU countries from UK because of the mass of packages already in the system and a large amount do not have the correct paperwork affixed.

This Christmas backlog needs to be sorted before deliveries to EU can proceed with correct paperwork attached.

Haha!! That's nothing!...

Asus 3080 TUF Non-OC

06/11/2020 - queue position 2090
08/01/2021 - queue position 1319

I'm instructing my 11yo daughter that when she grows up, falls in love, gets married, has her own kids, they can have mine, if it's arrived by then :)

It could be like old watches used to be, handed down through the generations.

I understand that but I'm at position 221 in a queue for a Palit 3080 non OC and being but on hold doesn't make sense its going to be a few months before I get close to the top of the queue so why put me on hold.
Anyway I just cancel my order as I am sure I am going to be hit by import tax on something that is over a €1000 as the card has come from China and OCs are just the seller's even if they add Irish VAT. I'm damn disappointed.
Best of luck to you all and I hope you guys get your cards in good time.
PS I do not blame Overclockers for this. Its just a fact of life for customer outside the UK now.

Im afraid not I don’t work in logistics so was not even aware of this I’m afraid. But as the email says it looks to be sorted mid next week it seems pretty much a none issue anyway as there are no big volumes of 3080 due next week and from reading the email it looks like it would have been sorted in a week or two.

I finally managed to secure a card - thank goodness. Having tamely thought about joining the OC queue, I decided not to as things will get better. But of course they only got worse. All I can say, anywhere you look the purchase of graphics cards, and in particular the 3080 is automated. I thought I could just be really fast like I was when I got a Ryzen 3950X from OCuk on launch, one of ten I think - but no, this is levels above. You have to level their advantage.

It will continue with the upcoming RTX cards from NVIDIA. So I hope this tsunami of issues affecting shipping starts to subside this month, and OCuk start getting cards and eating into the 3080 list and help you guys out.

Asus have now confirmed to me that NONE OC cards are NOT discontinued and should be shipping some soon, they did say the price is going up though, I am awaiting to see my new cost as it best not be going up 25% as we can't afford to lose 25%, I have communicated to them we are still shipping hour one customers from launch day so they need to be mindful of this as its not our fault for selling so many within the first minutes of product launching.

@Gibbo - Thank you for the update and the much improved communication in general over the past weeks, hearing that the asus 3080 non-oc is not discontinued makes me happy but... reading between the lines here it seems that those of us that are still waiting will end up having to pay even more than we have already to secure our cards, I ordered day 1 and the price I paid already jumped up £40 between me adding to the basket and sucessfully getting my order through @ 21:11, so the thought of having to potentially pay even more than that to finally eventually get my card makes me extremely unhappy as a customer.

edit: typos

I wonder how long I will be waiting now for my Asus Rog Strix RTX 3080 OC... Now Position 59 in the queue. Just hoping for 1 big delivery during this month. THE DREAM......

Hopefully it's not too long as I turned down An MSI Gaming trio X last night... :o
