I feel you man, I've been playing Cold War at 60fps since launch on my 144hz 1440p monitor... Needless to say I was expecting a GPU upgrade quite some time ago.

I've forgotten what a high refresh rate even feels like at this point.

I’ll be going from a 200 cuda core thing that can’t even run minecraft at 60fps to 5888 cuda cores lol, I can’t even imagine the difference in power right now

Thought I’d add my update to show another problem with this stock situation. Was in Asus TUF non OC queue for two months but switched to one of the Zotacs that came into stock, cancelling the Asus. Felt fortunate, had it about a month but....first a noise would appear briefly when not gaming, turned out to be the rear fan when it span from 0rpm. Became irritating enough to use Afterburner to set to constant fans but was silent when running. No complaints with OC on accepting RMA, sent video with sound and all arranged and done. However, I am of course back in a queue given there is no stock of replacements, only this time I have no working PC at all given sold my 5900XT when the 3080 arrived and initially seemed all ok. One step forward, two back. Merry Christmas regardless, doubt I’ll be in any fit state to game this evening anyway

Well, I’ve now gone from queue position 77 to queue position 69. This is so messed up, pray you don’t get a duff card like me. Thats a month of not being able to use my PC full stop. Have a separate corporate laptop and an ipad so avoiding buying some basic GPU for the moment but this utterly sucks.....
 
@Gibbo I know that there’s been issues with various types of goods getting over to Northern Ireland due to Brexit. Have you seen any issues (either in delivery time or costs) arising with sending GPUs to NI? I’m around 165-ish in the Eagle queue and just want to check and see if you’ve any more info with Brexit related issues over the last week or two?

I've not tried it yet, was going to use the 3080 in a new build rather than swap out into my current one but am still waiting on other parts. Just wondered if anyone else had received the code and had tried it out before I swap out my current cards to test it out.
 
I'm hunting for a very rare beast in deed, what is it I hear you all asking?, well it's the Inno3d RTX 3080 ICHILL X3, and what makes this card so rare?, well since it's launch only 10 have appeared on British soil, i was thinking that this very ( and I can't understate this) very rare beast was extinct, but I'm told that 10 have been spotted in the UK since December, so I'm hunting for one, it's been over 4 months now since I ordered one, and I've not seen hide nor hair of this elusive beast, and nothing of Interest in gibbo's daily reports, everyother cards are coming in, but you guest it, nothing but nothing of of the Inno3d RTX 3080 ICHILL X3, come on Gibbo just mention something about this rare beast, please

I'm playing COD CW with my 3090 at 1440 144hz monitor at 144fps ultra everything. Nice indeed. Ordered 17th December, installed and gaming on 19th December. Silly money absolutely, but it's a joy to behold. Happy chappy.

lol nice looking card, probably the rarest 3080. Never seen this land anywhere! Actually a Colorful RTX 3080 must be even rarer.
 
Hey everyone first-time poster here.
Figured I'd let all of you Ventus 3080 queue members above 31 know that you're all moving down 1 space. Found a slightly better performing card for not a whole lot more with shorter queues elsewhere. So good luck to the rest of you! :)
 
Any way we could put together a Document and everyone sign it so we can accumulate all the complaints in one place to pass onto ASUS to show them how enraged we are by their greed ?
Oh wait! @Gibbo @ScottiB just link them to this forum....

I sent OC a webote yesterday asking about a code for COD as i missed out on Watchdogs Legion & GeForce NOW codes due to the delays. They got back to me and are going to send me one So thank you OcUK :)

Asus are the only brand that has been coming in reasonable amounts. Why asus?
I wish I had chose asus over gigabyte
