Was looking for advice on how to connect the EK waterblock D-RGB header to my pc,
My Asus X99 Strix only has 4 pin RGB header on it but the EK block has a 3 pin D-RGB connector.

Cheers

If your motherboard has a 12V RGB header, and your block has a 5V Adressable RGB strip, they're not compatible.

A search online suggests to me it's a 12V header on the motherboard, and the strip with 3 pins can only be adressable RGB, so no, doesn't sound like you can connect it.

Thanks for that I did think that from googling adapters etc.

Can I power it from a fan header ? so it is lit up?
