Hi, just got a new mobo gigabyte z490 vision g
I didn't even think to check the cabling may be different to previous board.

My superflower SF 1000 psu does not have a 4pin ATX power connector ( may have lost it as previous board didn't need it)
I have the 24pin and 8pin available so do I need the 4 pin as well.

Reluctant in pulling it all apart to find I need it to power up as it will be a few days to get another cable and I need the pc in the meantime.

Thanks for any help offered
Jonny

Hi.

The 4 pin is for extreme overclocking so not really needed but if you have any instavillity issiues it may be there.

What psu is it corsair or Superflower?

Because it's a modular PSU I must have removed the cable for aesthetics on previous build as that board only had 24 and 8 pin.
This one is 24 + 8+4
Can't find cable anywhere and there are several empty spaces on PSU
