@Gibbo words not mine, that was the justification given for NOT upgrading the 3080 ventus to the SUPRIM yet yesterday the 3090 Ventus were all upgraded to the SUPRIM

90pc MSI 3080 Gaming X Trio have been upgraded to the MSI 3080 Suprim card.

Does anyone know what it's meant by upgraded? who exactly gets the upgrades? i'm not sure i follow how this is done. I don't know if this has been explained before.

I'm led to believe that 1 through 90 in the queue for gaming x trio have been upgraded to suprim as that cards backlog has been fulfilled but not been put back on sale probably for this reason.

if you are 18 in todays queue update then no as the big drop was the 90 lucky duckies getting their suprims

Guess its safe to say DPD is still shafting Ireland, no queue update today on my 3080 Strix OC and no idea if Im even going down in that queue or just getting skipped..... Can @Gibbo or @ScottiB give us lads across the pond some kind of clarity?

there has been an issue with a refund. Problem is refund is going to 2 different debit cards. One of which the bank account was closed recently.

If you (your bank) closed your account properly then there are mechanisms in place to allow you to reclaim your money. If you transferred your current account to another back using the official switching service this should be done automatically. This is an issue that you need to take up with your bank.

I believe that we are required to refund to the original payment card unless expired (and then we are supposed to ask for the updated card) due to money laundering laws.

I dont understand the que process! I was 305 last week Gibbo said there was 60 pieces landed I moved 12 places last week so emailed and asked about the 60 pieces they said it had not been booked in yet this week gone from 305 to 300? Anyone shed some light? Its frustrating as hell

Hi everyone. I ordered my asus 3090 strix oc back in October. Last Friday recieved recieved update saying was position 250 in the queue. On the 13th of January gibbo said would be receiving over 50 cards to help clear back orders and yet as of update today have moved to position 219. Just wondering what is happening as that Is clearly not over 50 cards. Thanks

29 arrived this week and an additional 50 are still due in.

Yeah, its incredibly badly planned, and its only gotten worse. Many of the cards should have had their release dates postponed (ie 3070 80 90 should have been released and cleared) additionally, stuff like 1 per customer or just general anti-bot measures should have actually been taken. The fact that they're still releasing new 3000 series cards (3080 ti) amazes me. The only hope is production picks up, OcUK's done a decent job being transparent. Hopefully as certain Queue's are cleared more cards (taking into account the rate of the cards production/value etc) are upgraded and sent out. - Rant over

Wait a minute!!!
So the 3080 Ventus guys are NOT being upgraded to SUPRIM because they "clearly wanted a budget card" Yet yesterday you have upgraded a bunch of 3090 Ventus orders to SUPRIM!?

Apples & oranges really;
- The queue sizes involved were vastly different.
- The 3090 Suprim supply is better than the 3080 Suprim so we had enough Suprim cards to clear the 3090 Ventus backlog completely.
- Gibbo was able to do that upgrade without costing the company vast sums of money since the numbers involved are much, much smaller and the disparity between cost price and sell price is smaller on 3090.

Please don't make any more of it than that.

Yep - same here. 274 down to 270 - Gigabyte Eagle 3080. By the time I get this card the new cards will be out. Nvidia totally dropped the ball on this and weren't ready for the demand. I have zero optimism at the moment. Even if OCs get 10 a week, that's another 25 weeks at least to wait. Crazy.

The thing that gets me, is nvidia spends millions on market research and gathering data, yet they couldn't see this coming!! oh yes ass** need kicking and firing!! hope you get yours ASAP we all live in hope

I'd argue that most companies are just shafting the UK in general right now. We're being informed of delays for incoming stuff many times every day. Some companies on whom we rely have completely stopped shipping to the UK. Courier companies such as UPS have suspended road service to the UK completely. Everybody is in the same boat until the damn Brexit bureaucracy is sorted and the customs backlogs ease
