Odd had to do that with my account and it worked fine.
Even before the login with Amazon was gone, I had to do that to see the order. It really doesn't bother me, I wasn't expecting it so soon based on updates from Gibbo throughout this week, so if I am one of the lucky ones then I am extremely grateful for the free upgrade, it is enormously appreciated.

If you were 21 on the queue position email sent last weekend then yes you’d have being upgraded.

If your 21 now from email sent this weekend then you did not get an upgrade but the next time we get more Trio or Suprim cards your looking good.

I was 21 last Friday - thank you for the upgrade, it is very much appreciated.
 
I saw Zotac trinity in the update thread and my eyes lit up but it's just a queue list..... Dang it.


The OC version of my card has had 4.6x the stock of the non-oc....
 
Hey guys , with all the answers popint up,it eased up a lot of concerns I had.But the major one is still there.Does anyone know maybe will the cards going to ROI be charged extra by customs?
 
I’ve been a regular user of this forum since September, I’m so grateful that today I got my shipping confirmation! I just wanted to thank Gibbo & ScottiB for keeping the forum informed and being transparent through the 30 series's painful distribution! Their activity and hard work in the forum was appreciated a lot and kept me sane honestly.

I’m also glad to hear that stock is moving again following new year! For those of you who are still waiting please stay strong you’re almost there and your new GPU will be the biggest reward! I’ll post again when I receive/install my new GPU and let you know my impressions on the Inno3D x3 IChill. I was 9th in the queue btw, hope that alleviates some people’s worries who are waiting on a Inno3D card.

Thanks again Overclockers, I hope you’re starting to feel better about the 30 series launch, as I’m sure it was just as much pain for you as it is for us. Thanks again! Can’t wait for the card to arrive!

MSI 3080 Gaming X Trio have been upgraded to the MSI 3080 Suprim card free of charge.
what about the 3080 Ventus are you going to upgrade some of them as well?
there hasn't been any shipments at all for 2 months

Please read previous posts of at least 2-3 pages before asking stupid questions, or at least do a search.

There is a lack of clarity at the moment and this is why DPD and others have stopped delivering until it is clear...

At a minimum you can be certain that you will only pay VAT once, in theory it should be your local rate though not the UK rate.

The uncertainty is over the source of the goods.

If you order something manufactured, sold by and delivered from the UK then there should be no extra charges.

If you order something from the UK which is manufactured outside the UK then there may well be duty to be paid, this is why things are on hold as it remains unclear if this is only for goods drop shipped from outside the UK to an EU location, or if it also affects goods delivered to the UK and then sent on to the EU...
 
I don't get how newcomers are suprised when they see stock issues, like mate you're clicking on the 1600th page of the thread.
 
IF you continue to take Gibbo's attempts to help customers that he is realistically able to help as a personal insult. Then choose to come here to vent about that don't you think that action is going to make it ess likely that we do more of it in future? Don't ruin it for others because you are feeling upset, that comes across as entitlement.

The 3080 situation is vastly different to the 3070 & 3090 situations.

The queues for 3080 are many, many times larger than the queues for the 3070 & 3090. We're talking about over 600 customers compared to less than a hundred.
The supply on 3070 & 3090 is vastly more than the supply on 3080 so we had more possibility to act.
Most, if not all 3070 & 3090 were sold above MSRP so the upgrades could be done without costing the company many thousands of pounds in losses. Most 3080 Ventus were sold at very little profit and the 3080 Ventus is a very expensive card. If/when we are able to do an upgrade for customers who bought a Ventus I guarantee that we will be losing a fair chunk of money on every single one.

Oof this is pretty poor @ScottiB as a paying customer I saw others being upgraded while being told myself that because I'm a "Budget orientated" purchase I will not get an upgrade and imo quite rightly expressed a deep unhappiness with that state of affairs, that's not entitlement its seeing an unequal treatment between paying customers and calling it out, I done all that BEFORE @Gibbo replied and after reading his replies the decisions taken make sense.
To come and throw accusations of entitlement about is absolutely awful and pretty disgusting, I am sympathetic that you guys are being roasted and there isn't a whole lot you can do but you also need to consider that there are hundreds of customers that have already PAID for their cards and for 3 or 4 months have seen zero queue movement, then they hear of upgrades but are told they are not getting one then see other customers with the same grade of card being upgraded.... any idiot could have predicted that would go down like a lead balloon.

Let's just chill, you're not the only one who won't be upgraded, we're all in the same boat here, this forum I feel has gotten a little bit heated this evening.

Let's just give @Gibbo and @ScottiB some slack as I'm sure there are so many factors that have affected this launch that no other launch has ever had like covid and Brexit etc.

You say that however, the vast majority of customers appear to have been positive about our attempts to help as many customers as we are able.

I wish you could understand how this is coming across to me..

As I read it what you've basically just said is that were are stupid for trying to help anybody before we are in a position help you.

Monday I believe.
I think we do have a weekend collection and that may be processed for Monday delivery. Afraid that I can't be sure.

I genuinely wonder if OcUK ever imagine they're going to clear 1000+ more places?

If anything that graph shows supply is been pumped out slower not faster.
