A Bulgarian Bellingcat researcher (Christo Grozev) claims that the Russian dissident Alexei Navalny who was poisoned, allegedly by having Novichok placed in his underpants, was tracked around Russia by "Intelligence" assassins. Using Russia's black market Grozev was able to buy phone data and flight records to prove how often and who was involved.

Despite this, Navalny is flying back into Moscow today where he will be arrested for failing to answer a bail hearing while in a coma - SAY WHAT

Putin is much admired by the soon to be the American ex-President.

. . . and lo! It came to pass on that day . . .
Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny has been detained after flying back to Moscow five months after he was nearly killed by a nerve agent attack last year.

Mr Navalny, 44, was seen being led away by police at passport control.

His flight from Berlin was diverted from one of Moscow's airports to another after crowds gathered there.

Yeah it's a sad state of affairs in Russia with that nutjob in control, unfortunately for the opposition Putin is very smart and savy having being ex KGB.

Not sure what going back to Russia will achieve with state controlled media and a long prison sentence on some made up charges etc.

Hmmm. I assume the poor guy has people he cares about.

Funny how an emboldened dictator can threaten people across the globe with impunity isn't it?

He will just die from some ' unforseen aftereffects of the poisoning'.

Way to easy and he's displaying a classic case of Darwinism, Putin must be laughing all the way with his decision to return.

Surly he would have been better as a voice from outside? Putin has too much support from the population via his propaganda and strong man approach I feel for anything to happen.

Putin will die an old man in power.

Someone will "off" Putin eventually, you dont go around making big waves without cast iron shields - and i doubt pootings got enough to see him through forever.

Brave of him to go back after the state literally tried to kill him.
There's no reason why they wouldn't finish the job. It's not like Putin gives a crap what the rest of the world thinks.

But then they might just as easily try to finish him off anywhere. He'd be living the rest of his life looking over his shoulder no matter what, no matter where.

Apparently he's a Rick and Morty fan:

Well much easier to do it in Russia, if they hadn't botched the earlier attempt then I presume they could have found a friendly coroner or Russian equivalent to rule that it was a perfectly normal death etc...

If he's ends up in prison now for the rest of his suspended sentence then plenty of opportunities and a much bigger risk than if he were to have not braved a return and stayed in Germany.
