Just picked up the 2700x from the market and now I'm looking for a motherboard to go with it. Budget is pretty tight at £100 or even less. I will be OCing the chip (if I can). Was looking at the Tomahawk Max but not entirely sure if thats even compatible with the 2700x after a bit of Googling. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

How about the MSI B450m Mortar? Bit cheaper and I wont ever be going SLi. How is the Mortar with Ocing?

Decent board with average overclocks but if your going to push the limit to the max the tomahawk is slightly better.

Check out some reviews.

msi x470 gaming plus max i use. currently sells for 80 quid and buildzoid says its not crap which is good enough for me. supports zen 3 too so has a future in it.
