if i order now 10.30 am friday will i get saturday?

i have the forum free delivery on my account

just becuase im home 2moorow and in the office on monday

anyone know?

I'm pretty sure with the current situation that there are delays between orders being placed and orders leaving the warehouse even with the free forum delivery selected. You'd be best phoning them or sending a webnote.

would have but by the time i get a response it will be to late, i think saturday deliverys is not provided to forum members as its not giving me the option to select the dates

Using "forum member" delivery counts for nothing. It'll take a week before they even ship it!

Believe me, I've had to deal with this more than once..

I would expect a 3-5 day shipping delay due to the social distancing and backlog of orders.

makes sense, well ordered anyway but for work address, im at home tomorrow so preferred tomorrows delivery, since its nice and early.

lets see how long it takes, ordered a 1200 watt PSU, came in stock yesterday hence the order, they were out of stock for 3 months

Unless you specifically chose Saturday delivery at extra cost it wouldn't arrive tomorrow anyway.

PSU had issues before Covid hit for stock. Corsair increased pricing just before November 2019 due to forth coming shortages . See things still haven't improved stock wise. Now everything lands in NL so shipping across to UK adds more delays

I ordered a new CPU fan yesterday at 12:00PM, hoping to recieve it for the weekend, but it's still yet to be dispatched.

I just went on the OcUK Twitter page and it's absolutely swarming with people saying it's taking ages to dispatch anything at the moment - One person said they ordered on the 8th Jan, an item that was in stock, and it still hasn't been dispatched!

Wish I didn't bother now - I feel like OcUK should really have made it more clear that they're struggling at the moment - You go on their Covid-19 page and it hasn't been updated since November...

Poor show - but I'm starting to get used to that with OcUK unfortunately :( Things have obviously changed a lot

If you want to enforce social distancing properly in a shop or warehouse environment then this is what happens. Whereas there maybe used to be 15-20 (no idea, but a busy warehouse like theirs I'd imagine that would be the case minimum) people all picking orders and putting them onto a belt to the packing team, all standing side by side boxing stuff up. That can't happen now. The packers are probably half what they were before, perhaps the same for the picking staff. The goods in guys are likely working with fewer numbers too. It was either that or close completely.

That makes complete sense, but my frustration really lies with the amount of information OcUK have provided - Which is pretty much non-existent as far as I can see (apart from their Twitter page)...

Also - I've ordered items from one of their big competitors over the past week (The one that resides in Bolton) and I received it next day - So it screams to me as poor planning on their part, seeing as their competitors have been able to organise themselves appropriately.

one of the managers just confirmed todays orders wont have a saturday delivery, free forum offer, they said 3-5 days as they have a lot of back orders still waiting to be dispatched

OCUK are a very busy company with many orders.

Also the courier company's are also over burdened, this covid situations is crap, why did we have to have a pandemic for......

It's not great tbh, I've ordered stuff from competitors (same bolton one) that have consistently shipped same day for next day delivery (in fact I ordered my 3090FE on 23rd dec and it was delivered 24dec in the height of christmas rush etc.) whereas OCUk I've waited 4 days for items to be shipped on my last order and I'm up to 6.5 days so far on my current order without it being shipped.

i agree with SS-89 they make no mention of delivery problems and when i waited for 26 mins on the phone line before it was picked up the guy on the other end of the phone didn't give a dam about my order it was as if it was an inconvienience that i called at all , i dont think i will be using this company again i will be going back to ****** , but i guess you live and learn
