Morning all!

In attempting to remove a stubborn m.2 drive standoff a few moments ago, my clumsy hands hit the CMOS battery holder and it detached from the mother board. As you can see from the following video it is now slightly loose and not firmly attached to the motherboard.

Have I just made a massive error or is it fixable?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks :)

Hmm I've just turned it on and went into bios and have had a warning that the bios has been reset. That's slightly concerning

Okay, I seem to be in business. Its remembered the settings for three reboots and it's just electrical taped in place. Thanks for the help :)

If it decides to die on me again is it a case of new battery holder or who new motherboard you reckon?

I would remove the motherboard and resolder the joints on the underside or if you are in there anyway just replace the battery holder all together as you may have snapped one of the joints
