I do under 10 miles each way
Can plug in at work only, but if they are broken or whatever , I'm stuck, so has to come with a petrol engine , even if I don't have to plug it in, assuming plug in hybrids u don't actually need to ?
Sorry i didnt make it clear, they are all hybrids at work. Useful for weekends and long journeys but Mon to Fri is electric only and cheap miles. And yes they recharge from braking and you can set it on longer journeys to use minimal electric and make sure you are on full charge when you get to the city so you can run on electric only.
I did an analysis on my 20,000 miles per year I do. With the right hybrid and assuming I charge at work and at home every night, there is only a 1000 miles top I do each year when I would need to put fuel in.
