The whole "shorts expire today/tomorrow/weeks " time is nonsense.
No hedge fund will release or provide that information as this scenario is exact what would happen every time..... If you had to provide information when the shorts were called in, people would drive the price up every single time.
It's a load of nonsense. There are shorts, but there is no solid/creditable information given out as to how much the shorts are/how many each fund/hedge manager holds/when they expire etc.
In that case - why would you ever short something, if you knew as you approached the call date, it was public/known information, and the price would be forced up every time.
Please don't think this is anything but public gamble/experiment on some stocks of companies. There is some solid information out there but some of the nonsense I'm reading on here/Reddit is laughable
