Is the first Titanfall singleplayer game any good? I've just seen the deluxe edition going for less than a fiver on CDKeys.

Also, I assume that Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor Definitive Edition is the one to get over the GOTY?
 
The game was mainly multiplayer focused with no real single-player campaign included. Instead, there were single-player missions included that served as a way for the player to learn the mechanics of the game.

I think it probably is. It's a nice little game, but for me, felt very much like the pre-curser for shadow of war. Shadow of War is a masterpiece, though arguably a bit grindy towards the end (but grindy in a fun way). I cranked up the difficulty pretty quickly, not quite to the hardest (which was specially included later I believe), but the "normal" hardest that was included in the original game. Dying is part of the game, and creates stories within the game. It sets up epic battles where an orc is just better than you, and kills you, until you can basically escape him, get stronger and come back later to kick his arse.

Thanks, Shadow of War has been in my Steam library for a while and just got fibre installed so I've set it downloading. Something for this evening.
 
Titanfall 2 is one of the best single player FPS Campaigns I've ever played, only behind Half life 2 and Subnautica for me.
