I am looking to upgrade and was wondering which motherboard to go for..

I never play games and in the past I have always been good with the built in video card options..
(so machine will be used for office, streaming, the odd video edit, etc)
  • I need to be able to use 2 monitors (currently HDMI+DVI)
  • Plan on getting a Ryzen 3600
  • My case supports ATX boards.
  • Not really planning on overclocking.
  • Something I could, if needs be, get a faster CPU for at a later stage.
Which motherboard should I go for? :)

Amd graphics is emeded in the cpu so you will need a G Varint like the 3200g. Most intel have integrated graphics with the cpu unless its an f varient.

ah, I see.. My last few CPUs have been Intel, hence Its never been a problem I've had to consider before :)

But if a motherboard is sold with HDMI, DVI, etc, does it still rely on the CPU providing the data for the ports?
Yes if no graphics card ia installed.
