I have been using a 3090 FE since November after release of 5950x and have been eagerly waiting EK to release their water block so I could finally complete my build.

I have the Lian Li O11 Dynamic XL Distribution plate that is plumbed into two EK radiators (60mm XE and 45mm PE) and is currently only being used to cool my CPU.

After seeing how good the FE block looked, I decided to mount it vertically using the EK bracket but have since ordered a Lian Li vertical GPU bracket (on backorder from OCUK) because I will now be fitting two 3090 FE cards (the second one is coming today).

My question is what in your opinion would be the best way to close the loop between the distribution plate and the two GPUs in vertical orientation? Do I:
1. Use both GPU outlets and 2 of the 4 inlets on the distribution plate or;
2. Only one outlet to one GPU, tube to second GPU and complete loop back to distribution plate?

If 2, what options do I have for joining the 2 GPUs? It seems it would have been nice if the acrylic inlet could have one port on the back and one on the side.

I don't even know if they will fit vertically, I can't determine that until I have everything but I am fairly certain I can make it work.

Are you looking at the Vector series blocks? They have an interchangeable terminal and one of the two designs has a typical "2 holes straight through" layout. Meaning there's 4 ports on one block.

Couldn't you then do the usual SLI arrangement or two cards clamped together with 2 little hard tubes? I'll be honest, I doubt you will fit 2 vertical graphics cards with fittings and tube between them. Maybe male-male joiners?

Special Terminal Design
The water block is delivered with a set of connection terminals, allowing users to swap them out based on their needs. One terminal has two direct G1/4" ports on the side, while the other one is more conventional, having four G1/4" ports going through the terminal.

Thanks for your reply. I think I will use the GPU outlets on the distro and not link them. It all depends on trial fit when I have everything I think as I don't think this has been done before.
