It's a joke - 10 units in 3 months - 4.5 years queue for me. I will have a card in 2025 - summer. Please let me know how to stay optimistic...

407th place here... don't know why I'm bothering to stay in the queue. The Ti will be out and I'll still not have mine. Getting hard not to lash out in anger on here about it.

It was the email informing me I was on hold that prompted me to finally take interest in this thread. Like others, I wanted to clarify some of the ambiguous language used in the mail and instead of answers found only more questions here, about price increases, import fees, potential discontinuations of products, etc. The whole thing is a fiasco.

This thread is an object lesson in the value of a good community manager, who at £30-40k a year, probably seems like a bargain at this point I would imagine.

Probably the most relevant thing I've read in this thread.
 
im 61 in cue for asus 3080 tuf none oc.not shipping yet.it suppose to be 70 card.☹
70 was an assumption. 20 were supposed to be shipped to OcUK but their arrival was not confirmed in Gibbo's post. It could be that the 50 included the unconfirmed 20 or they have just disappeared.

All we have been told atm is that we are moving in the queue and that we will be allocated a card if our number is met but other than that nothing, seems they are trying to fix the whole vat issue so we dont pay it twice, customs price is something they cant really calculate for us.

I was position 1 on Friday (after being poisition 7 for two weeks).

Hopefully other Gaming OC folk will chip in here and let us know about their shipping e-mails for a better understanding.
 
I think the reason you're on hold is so that OC and DPD can sort out that 21% VAT at import issue. I'm hoping there will be some clear information provided once the issue is resolved and all non-UK customers are taken off hold again. You do what you think you need to, because at this point there are several compelling reasons to pursue a refund, but if I was you I would at least hold off until then.
A bit of a follow up on this situation since I've had a long discussion with the MD about it. LOOOOONG story short DPD don't have the systems in place to carry forward the VAT that you've paid, this is what caused the issue. We still don't have a solution which will work for all affected customers. Those customers whose order shipped but then got returned are stuck in a whirlpool of VAT regulations since the goods have already been invoiced, we aren't legally able to refund the VAT without cancelling the order completely and it's looking like no courier will handle the goods VAT paid. We are still trying to find a workable solution, please be patient.

Add another packet of haribos in, should cover it.

I am one of these people who's order was shipped ,(on the 7th jan) can you please keep us updated i need that card a long time ago
