And here come the politics
I’m far from a politician... just making a point that there are loads of factors. Everyone’s annoyed but you can’t just blame OCUK! Yes I’m fuming that it’s now February and I ordered at 3pm on release day but there are many many reasons that our cards have been delayed over and over again. I blamed OCUK at first but once you open your eyes you see the bigger picture. Give scotti and Gibbo a break, not like they’re going to hope over to some factory and build the cards for you.

Wasn't blaming anyone but ok, take a chill pill

As I said, there is plenty of blame to go around. I do not just blame OC, but the link between OC and me happens to be the only link in the supply chain I have a stake in. This is also OC's forum, where OC staff can directly see and respond to my queries and feedback. Whatever criticism I have for any other parties is just chatter here. My perspective is simple. I don't blame OC or anyone else for the factors that are out of their control, but there are plenty of things directly in their control that they have either handled poorly or have failed to do at all. There is no scenario where my order has already been fulfilled because the supply just isn't there. There definitely could have been scenarios where I was €900 richer because I wasn't sold a card that would not be delivered for 6 months or more. There could also have been scenarios where I was kept clearly and consistently informed about my order for the last four months and for as long as it takes for the order to be fulfilled.

If the last bit does have to happen, maybe once the card arrives to the customer in Ireland and has paid for the VAT and Import then they could open a webnote for the compensation of the VAT since it was already paid for?
That's the root of the problem with the bounced deliveries, once the order has been shipped and invoiced with the VAT included we are legally and technically unable to refund the VAT. The VAT situation must be resolved before the order is invoiced. Legally, the only way to refund the VAT after this point is to refund the whole order.

As I said, it's looking increasingly likely that customers outside of the UK (Northern Ireland should be sorted soon, if not already) will have to have their VAT refunded before goods are shipped and will have to deal with charges locally. If you are one of these customers and this is not something that you wish to do then cancelling the order is beginning to look like the only option: https://forms.gle/KewUKDD7fQMu1div5

I assure you that this is not us being difficult. This just appears, right now, to be the ONLY way to get the couriers to accept these parcels.

Well, another Eagle OC order about to be cancelled ("!" in the queue for those interested). I jumped to Team Red - 6800XT and am more than happy with it. Good luck everyone, it's been a painful and frustrating 4 months, I hope your wait is not too much longer...

Are all RTX 3080 on Pre Order/Back Order??

Or will OCUK put Free Stock up for sale??

All RTX 3080 are on pre-order AFAIK. There are some big waiting lists. I've been waiting 4 and half months and am still only 7th in the queue at the moment. There is no "free stock". Availability worldwide for "free stock" RTX 3080's is almost if not nil. I haven't seen a 3080 available for more than 30 seconds anywhere in Europe or USA

Mass Effect: Legendary Edition is out on May 14th.... The next deadline to receive my gpu haha cuberpunk came and went... I feel this is realistic being 400ish in the queue for 3080 Eagle OC. I will be in placement as a student nurse at my nhs trust by then so would be nice.... Currently have a Evga GeForce GTX 570.......

I mean if I get the VAT back and then pay for it when it arrives, then thats totally fine by me as long as I can keep my queue honestly.

This is something I will not need to worry about for some time yet, since I was ~150 in the queue for Asus Strix non-OC before I was put on hold, but as long as there were no additional charges, I could accept the VAT being refunded for it to be paid again on import.
