I also got a magnetic charging cable off Amazon, no brand but the reviews were all excellent and it was under a tenner for a 2m cable with Lightning, USB-C and Micro-USB magnetic bits so not to be sniffed at I thought. Quality is immense, braiding is air tight at each end and the magnets are super strong as shown below:

Vertical task bar? Sign off the internet, right now.

It's taken a couple of months, 3 different engineers, 2 contractor visits and a couple of emails to BT's executive team but finally 6 (6!) Openreach vans turned up today and managed to install this. I just need to somehow run a cable down 2 flights of stairs to my router without having to chase conduits in to solid brick walls.

How many openreach engineers does it take to splice a fibre

I've got a stupidly ornate brick paved drive which the previous owners decided to cement in instead of sanding, I had an outstanding complaint with BT and their executive office due to them not managing to provision my landline for several months so I just emailed them again about the FTTP, a few days later these boys turned up in a convoy, spent all day here and did a fantastic job, laid a new conduit, cut out every single brick individually and laid them back down so you wouldn't notice the difference. Not like Virgin Media 2 doors down where they just cut a trench in his brick driveway and filled it with some cement. Jokes on him, I've got faster broadband :D

34" ultra-wide 3440x1440, makes logical sense to have a vertical taskbar than a horizontal one otherwise it's wasting screen real-estate being horizontal!
I disagree with this more than I disagree with your using a vertical taskbar!

I have enough crap open on my work PC that things get collapsed into groups and I have to click extra times to see what I need to. Wider taskbar would come in handy.

You can change it in the settings so that they don't stack if you like, you'll definitely need that real estate then. A colleague of mine does it and with the double height task bar but he has so many apps open that they each only get a few mm of space.

I have my task bar at the top of the screen, come at me

You're either Australian or a bat :p

It just means you are overworking yourself having so much stuff open. Work smart, man :D

My method has logic ehind it and efficiency. I never open too many windows to the point that a scrollbar appears in the taskbar, 1440 pixels v-res means I can still open a lot though if I need to but never unmanageable. File explorer windows are grouped. Left sided taskbar not right because all my app menus and UX elements tend to be on the left like Photoshop toolbox etc, and the cursor is mostly on the left side anyway of the screen.

That and my browser window where I read sites and stuff is on the left side of the screen leaving the right side for a browser window for media content, or a toolbox window in an app or Spotify/MusicBee etc.My layout is for the productivity of my workflow, not anyone else's :D

They support 3A current and this charger uses QC3.0 too with s max output of 3A to a single battery so should be no problem at all. I'll check when something needs charging next as I've done all the batteries yesterday lol. All the cable is doing is using pin-outs to connect the ends together like those old school Sony magnetic chargers on the Xperia Z3 - So technically no different to a fixed cable just the contact is made with magnetism.

I have these type of cables as-well have them on a handful of things (3A versions), just makes life easier. They charge quick enough.
