*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

one thing that confuses me the most is why did msi send two batches of 5 and not just send them all at once.
now my card is missing somewhere and i have to wait even longer.
i was excited when i saw that 10 cards where coming from msi but knowing what has happened so far i should have expected some random thing has caused more delays

MSI seem to be very shady recently, doesn't surprise me.

@ScottiB

Sorry for bothering you but just a quick question. Do you know what happens to RMAs for the RTX 3080s in regards to the queing system? I understand if you aren't able to answer that but worth a shot eh?
Since those unfortunate customers have already had to do their waiting once we essentially we treat them as though they are at the front of the queue. We can't actually put them back into the queue at the front but they wait until the next batch comes in then we assign them a card from that. That's the main reason why there's occasionally a small disparity between what Gibbo says has arrived and how many queue slots are moved.

Thankfully, these cards seem to have a very low failure rate, so we don't have a big backlog of people waiting for replacements.

Thanks for clarifying that. Def putting my mind at ease since it's been a tough few months. My RMA arrived just this morning at your warehouse. Here's hoping I can get back to Jedi Fallen Order soon enough. =)

My pc just started acting weird today... built it in September for the launch of rtx3000. My hard drive just pops in and out of reality. One minute it’s working perfect and the next it’s not there, I haven’t opened my pc in months and the cables haven’t been touched :( any suggestions would be great
What's your psu?

I think if the cancellations were removed it would be completely flat since 13 Nov. My own position has changed from 22 to 13 since 13 Nov, so I show a reduction of 9 whereas you show a reduction of 17, so that's definitely 8 cancellations and of the 9 that I am showing probably at least 4 of them are cancellations, so the real delivered number of cards is 5 or less since 13 Nov.

BTW, like you I am bored ;)
