I need to know what the Japanese text says next to some automotive dashboard light bulbs please, is anyone able to read the text in the orange highlighted box? Thanks.

Yep, looks like it has capless bulbs that sit in a holder (which pushes and turns to lock in place) - and you can usually buy just the bulb bit, or the whole thing as a unit.

Thanks Will Gill, that's good, but the link shows much bigger bulbs and holders, the one I need to change is buried inside the cluster and REALLY tiny, I suspect it MIGHT be the bottom one in the orange box. I just need a standard bulb, not an LED or a coloured one, the stock are clear glass. Until I fish it out I am not even sure if it will come out of its holder, it's for the manual mode indicator, and about the only thing on Supras I haven't removed, rebuilt, modified or replaced :) from experience if I ring my Toyota dealer they won't have a clue without a sample and they are miles away. No doubt it will be something used on other Jap cars though, once I ID the damned thing! Thanks again.

Amusing tale, this car has been to several other "specialists" and had a new engine ECU and a new traction control ECU and a new auto box selector assembly, which is where the manual mode button is situated, at God awful cost. Whereas in fact the reason the manual mode didn't show is the bulb is blown... Someone's removed the engine management warning light bulb altogether, so no doubt it has other treats in store for my attention.

Thank you Lopez, see my reply to Will Gill, I fear it's an odd ball tiny weeny thing...Although from what I can see without dismantling the whole thing it does look to be in a (tiny) holder.
