Hi I am trying to get some advice on where to position my Watercooled pc, At the moment i have it on a carpet under my desk, as its to heavy for puting on a desk
The desk is wood and with heat rising it makes the desk really warm more so in summer.
My enquiry is, could this also be making my pc to hot as there is only about 10 or 15 cm from the base of the desk its under and cause tubing to loosen
The radiator is at the top of the case
And i am also thinking of placing it on a wood shelf or something similar to seperate it from the carpet
At the other side of the desk there is a subwoofer and was thinking can the vibration cause damage to this kind of build
My concerns are because last year i had a water leak where the tubing came loose from the waterblock on the cpu while running and then it instantly shut down
It was fine for around 5 years though so maybe that was just bad luck
Is it possible that vibration from the subwoofer or the lack of air flow could have loosened this and placing it on a wood shelf or maybe a rubber mat would make it overall better
Dont get me wrong the Temps are brilliant, never above 60 when stressed we cpu or GPU
Any advice will be appreciated thanks
