AMD 6500XT / 6600XT / 6700XT

All titles that support SAM. Take away SAM and thats about 5-10%. Probably it will be on part with 3060TI.
Needs to be on par price wise too. Wonder why they didnt say the pricing? hmmmmmmmmm:p:p:p

It doesn't say SAM enabled.

I was right they wouldn't leave a $200 gap lol.

At RRP in the current crappy climate I'd suggest it to people if they can buy it.

But AMD have dramatically raise price gen on gen then.

Ya but they are claiming its here.

95% a 6800, With 40 CU's and 2.45Ghz how?????????

I don't buy it, not even with SAM.

Figures will be extremely cherry picked.

It's probably a 3060Ti performance piece.

Either way, I do like how AMD have pre scalped them first.

Just looking at the Anand round up.

The 6800 is listed with an 1815Mhz game clock, the 6700XT is listed with a game clock of 2424Mhz (+34%) 40CU's vs 60 CU's.

Is it really just clocking miles higher? 3Ghz overclocks?

Ha, can't imagine it'll get anywhere near 3GHZ lol.

Quick look, average clock 2743Mhz on this one...

Air cooled ones Red Devil average clock 2563
Air cooled Nitro+ 2622Mhz.

Hardware Unboxed and GN got theirs to between 2600 and 2700

That seems a bit cherry picked to me lol.

A 2.7GHZ overclock on a top dog 6800XT doesn't really equate to the blanket statement you made.

Long and short, it's just an incorrect blanket statement.

If you look at the TDP on the RX6700XT its only 25W less than the RX6800.Hence I expect it to be leaky silicon clocked to the edge. It makes me wonder whether the RTX3070 will actually be better in performance/watt,as the RX6800 is the most efficient gaming GPU ATM.

I think its because they are clock that much higher, at 2.6 - 2.7Ghz the 6800XT pulls 360 Watt's, about 70 Watt's more than the stock reference card which runs at about 2.3Ghz with an advertised game clock of 2Ghz.

I wouldn't be surprised if the 6700XT is actually running at 2.7Ghz out of the box. The 6800XT has a clock cap set by AMD at 2.8Ghz, after testing a bunch of AIB models Hardware Unboxed said he thinks they would clock higher without this limit. My thinking is the 6700XT may have that limit raised to 3Ghz or even 3.1Ghz.

Hence why I think they are clocked to the edge and use leaky silicon, which can clock higher. It will be interesting to see how much power the RX6700 draws, but apparently that is going to hobbled by 6GB of VRAM! :(
