*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

We tried that early on and this thread deteriorated into a blitz of vile comments and insults aimed at Gibbo. People claimed that no response meant not caring and responded with personal attacks.
That's unacceptable and nobody should have to deal with that just for trying to do their job. It might not have been possible legally but a few bans and some cancelled orders would certainly have shut a number of people up. 1st world problems are the most disgusting.

Experience has taught me that customers that spend the least amount of money have the loudest mouths, and feel that the world owes them something.

I just discovered the ignore button :D

First attempt at posting a graphical representation of my queue updates. 917 seems a mighty fine distance away from 0 but this is just part of the struggle in our world right now and it won't be permanent. Obviously big slowdown in the past few weeks which makes sense, truly hope I get my card before it reaches my order anniversary :D

I'd like to thank ScottiB and Gibbo for their continual efforts on the forums updating us with the latest information, I read it practically every day checking the latest. Waiting is just part of the game now, and I don't have the drive or patience to sit around hunting for cards in the wild. I hope this picks up in the second half of 2021 to take the stress off everyone!

This brings me back, I used to fit data using python.

I would say that thankfully for us this is far more complex than extrapolating an expectation based on that curve. Otherwise, supply would be stopping and never start. Hopefully, the numbers will start to make it more of a straight line again!

I'm hoping the supply starts to recover now we are past the Chinese new year. Though I have a feeling with all the other impacts that it's going to be a slow year.

As someone from Ireland waiting for a 3080 ASUS TUF Non-OC since release day, it is what it is. No one in any position to change things will have chosen things to be as they are.

Covid and Brexit are causing a lot of issues outside of anyone's control, and Nvidia/manufacturers might have more unrelated issues on top of those. OCUK are definitely not choosing to delay delivery to us. We just have to wait and see. I really want my GPU, but it's just a GPU in the end. We are living through a global pandemic, and a massive political shift between Ireland/EU and the UK. GPUs are a pretty low priority issue if you think about it.

Being rude and demanding of the OCUK staff here as they answer questions doesn't help anything.
Just my 2 euro-cents.

Agreed, we live in a society of Prime delivery and I want it now attitude, with no thought on what the person or company has to go through to get it and earn a living. Unfortunately the past year has put a gear in the works and instead of people getting use to the new norm for a time, instead look at it as a problem and assault on their rights and want to take their anger out on other people.

Absolutely I really hope so too, I just like to think it's like the old west when you'd have to wait 6 months for your goose fat to be delivered to the wilderness :D

We really can't complain at having to wait when so so many issues collided on this launch. All we can do is keep our fingers crossed (and respect the staff).

I hate being the bearer of bad news, but that linear "line of best fit" is not appropriate... you really need a curve of best fit, which will probably project delivery around end of 2021... hopefully that won't be the case.

Oh believe me mate I know the linear line isn't the most accurate guess ever given the curve but an exponential trend line almost goes asymptotic, ends at sometime in 2024 :D

Honestly as someone who did plenty of data analysis at uni there shouldn't even be a trendline on here, as the shipments and deliveries are so erratic along with the seemingly random cancellations per week. The trendline is purely there for the fact that seeing it end in Jun gives me a small amount of misplaced hope and joy ;)

I'm sure they are VW took two weeks to get me replacement suspension springs for a GOLF! & it's not even a classic!

 Must be from all the hoops you are having to jump through. Doesn't help that we are only allowed to drive for essential travel. I was sad to sell my i30n for a boring practical car (before the pandemic), but now I am glad as it would just be sitting outside the house doing nothing.

Strix 3080 OC ordered 17th Sept @15:21..................Shipped 3rd March!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It has been quite the rollercoaster ride. Thank you @Gibbo. @ScottiB you must have one hell of a happy place to get through the constant stream of messages and rage. I'd give you some Haribo but I'm trying to convince a mate that once there is an RGB and cardboard box shortage, Haribo will be next!

I sincerely hope that for everyone who is waiting, that things will turn around and we'll all be going blind with our 3080s

It's not all roses though. Was told on Monday that I am being made redundant. Still, I have my card and will get a decent payout, so not all bad
