Keeping up with the Markles

Prince Phillips patented baby colour chart.

Comments like this highlight why it's so important for people to continue to challenge these ignorant views. Harry and Meghan have shown incredible courage throughout all of this and hopefully it can lead to a genuine #meToo moment for the antiquated, misogynistic royals. It's amazing to think that we can't fund our health workers properly yet we continue to pour millions into this dysfunctional family.

Courage my ***, she's a complete narcassist and her ownly goal is to become powerful. Give it 5 years or less and they will be divorced, she's been nothing but me me me the whole time, its always someone elses fault never her's. Harry's been nothing but a churchil dog the entire time.

Without context it seems like an innocuous comment about skin colour. Easy to take offence if sought out. My wife and I were asked the same question when she was pregnant and I can confirm that brown eyed olive skinned motherly genes do dominate those of a pasty freckled Irish partial redhead father . I never for once took offence, but the again that's not in my nature.

What is there to challenge - plenty of people of all races were wondering what he'd look like, will he have a ginger afro etc..

The issue is if this was actually deemed to be a "problem" for the Royals - though given the claim is so vague and given without any context + came right after a very dubious attempt to play the race card re: the kid's title then I think plenty of skepticism is warranted.

We know she's hyped up one thing (the baby's title) that had nothing to do with race into some implied racism so quite plausible they've done the same with this.

Probably not.

I was replying to the comment that we'd rather put money in to a dysfunctional family than pay nurses. I was making the point that meghan and harry was part of that dysfunctional family that we paid for.

I hate to tell you this.
But the people of the UK don't pay a penny to the royal family.

The queen gives the UK government £160 mil+ every year.
Then the gov give some back.

Wow, if they have shown courage then I, like many others, deserve a medal for starting a mixed race relationship back in the early 90's when views were not so liberal as today.

Don't care, fail to see the issue....

Rich family golden child falls for family of less social standing.....

No idea why it is or should be getting media attention, apart from they want chain the narrative from failed governments/Brexit and covid.

Some people are offended by just getting out of bed in the mornings.

I’m going with Charles if true.

I think she's gutter trash for sure. However, I have a feeling that if this was comment was indeed true it was Charles as well. If it was someone minor they would have said who it was. I don't think William would have said it, so the only major royal it could be is Charles and they know if they said it was him it would have a detrimental irresistible impact to the British Monarchy.

Well, his dad has stopped taking his calls, wonder if he's dropped Charles in it there.

Seem less likely to be William, a different generation. But if the context is that it was actually a serious concern re: the monarchy, his dating/potentially getting married to Meghan etc.. and they've ruled out the Queen & Prince Phillip then it's basically down to Charles and William.

It could be any body.

It could be any body.

Depends on what happened - if we're talking about a casual remark along the lines of just pondering wha the kid will look like then sure, could be anyone at say a dinner table or social event or whatever...

But if it's in the context of some serious discussion about Harry's relationship/future, his role/place within the family etc.. and raised as a concern regarding that then realistically there are only a few Royals who would be having that conversation with him - the Queen, Prince Phillip, Charles and William.

No but they were given huge amounts of land and estates in the country that generates them wealth. The Duchy of Cornwall being one example, a business that is exempt from corporation tax. They sit on a nice pile of stolen treasure as does the State. I used to be in favour of the monarchy when I was younger but the older I get the more I think we should get shot of the whole lot of them. Take back the lands that rightfully belong to the State and leave them with a nice house each and a pension for the older generations, they can earn their way like the rest of us. That seems more than generous to me.
