Keeping up with the Markles

She mentioned it in her one to one then Harry was asked about it which he confirmed...But said he won’t disclose who said it and the exact conversation.

The fact there was a concern over the colour is disgusting. The child was never going to be dark skinned (if that was what certain royals were concerned about) lmao. Considering Archies the parents and grandparents on both sides.

Genetics are weird though. The child could easily have been darker skinned than Meghan is a genetic throwback. Unlikely perhaps but possible.

I'll admit I wondered about the children's skin tone but purely because I thought it would be great for the royals to have some diversity in the family. They are meant to be the royal family for the whole Commonwealth but don't look anything like huge parts of it.

Very interested to see how the Palace will respond, their PR team definitely had a sleepless night.

And probably will for another night at least as people continue to react.

Not interested in seeing Meghan and Harry talk for 2 hours so only seen clips and write ups.

The storm it’s creating is interesting though, definitely shaken tables
Charles should just come out and say Harry isn't really his son.

They've been responding for weeks with their proxy PR war though the loyalist tabloids. Give it a day or two for it to quieten down a bit and then watch the offensive really ramp up.

There's a trend I've noticed about being unable or unwilling to accuse specific names in the royal family so people such as yourself will go with "they" to keep it nice and vague.

Is it because it's damn near impossible to sell the image of the Queen, the head of "them", talking trash through a red top paper.

The Crown simply gave the land to itself because it all belonged to the Crown and dished it out to family and allies. The point remains though, they were given lands that earn them a nice fat income that isn't even subject to the same taxation as the rest of us. The land in the case of the DoC might still belong to the Crown but the money it generates goes straight in Charles's bank account. Its a outdated system that hopefully will be coming to an end sooner rather than later.

So all this happened 100s a years ago.
And as you said "It belong to the crown" and they cam give it to anyone they want to.

It's a bit like I'm giving my land\home to my family.
Happens all the time...

Yeah defo not impossible but unlikely as you said. If that happened the media and the royals would have a field day...Sure there would be cheating allegations being peddled from within and outside the palace amongst other things.

Genetics is are interesting though, a relative of mine is mixed race(black & white parents) and her children have a white father.
One of her children could easily be assumed as having two white parents.
Where as the others not so much.

The right thing for the Palace to do, is give this interview absolutely zero credence and say nothing at all. Which is the standard Palace PR line on gossip.

Oh definitely.

I just think the interview was a lot more ‘explosive’ than I’m sure they had anticipated in both content and the reactions.

I for one thought it was going to a lot tamer than it was, and even with what was said I think there’s a lot that both Meghan & Harry held back on.

I am now an expert in bathing ferrets. I think the news should perhaps concentrate on the benefits of regularly bathing your ferrets rather than the views of two Hollywood types.

lmao 5 minutes reading a wikihow and you think you can master this technique??

With everything thats gone on in the last couple of years regarding racism, I honestly actually think that interview was so much worse than I had imagined it would be. Its not even really a matter of if's of whether its true, in the current climate it will be brandished like a sword by those in some quarters irrespective of any truth or falsehood.

Truth be told, I think the interview has dealt a mortal wound to the BRF, one which may take a while to have a final effect but I really do believe that in decades to come history will look back at the 2020/2021 period as the start of the end for the BRF as anything of consequence. One thing is for sure, there has long been a movement suggesting that the BRF effectively end once the Queen is gone (and even more so the Commonwealth), I wouldnt be surprised if this interview gives that movement renewed impetus.

Well, ok, as you forced the issue.

When I was younger, I was in an abusive relationship for 7 years, involving behaviours from my partner that would these days be prosecutable under coercive control. I was alienated from my family and friends (it's the reason I have pretty much no contact with anyone from my youth), financially controlled and so on.

The behaviour of the duchess of Sussex strongly reminds me of my ex, as does many of the justifications people throw around because there is a whole stigma around the situations that normalise such things.

So, with that said, kindly jog on you insensitive ****.

Harry has served in Afghan for 10+ years. I think he’s big and brave enough to be making his own decisions at this point.

What evidence have you got that shows he has been manipulated and isn’t making these decisions himself? Or are you just needlessly projecting your own abuse onto him?

Because he has very articulately and reasonably explained why he wanted out. Do you think he’s lying and being forced to say it? Do you doubt the trauma he claims to have from his mothers death whilst being hounded by the same people who are hounding him?

I think the fact the family are harbouring a pedophile is probably a bigger tell. They could get away with sweeping Nazis under the rug and pretending that they weren’t involved but now the internet exists and they don’t influence the media like they used to.

Given how you normally are on such things, I'm surprised to see you repeating common myths as a counter.

Would you post the same if the gender roles were reversed?

LOL, you don't seem to get it do you, that's literally the point - of course she knows - she knew full well that their kid wasn't getting the title - she's openly lied/implied some racism angle because it's beneficial to her when the truth is far less controversial.

No you miss the point, I think she’s telling the truth over you.
