Keeping up with the Markles

Prince Harry was whisked to safety by SAS bodyguards as the Taliban launched its deadly attack on Camp Bastion.

Harry had grabbed a pistol and was ready to fight but was taken to a fortified safe room on the base during the three-hour suicide bombing mission.

The SAS guarded Harry through the night, primed to take on the Taliban fighters who have vowed to kill him.

Numerous sources confirm this.

Sounds like he served like everyone else.

In a heavily guarded safe room surrounded by the militaries best.

Was he not flying helicopters?

Okay walk up to a random Pakistani tomorrow and ask them " do you like curry" and see how they react.

Then walk up to another random Pakistani but this time ask them what do they like to eat and see how they react.
You've gone off on a tangent talking about random Pakistani people when you were originally talking about asking a mixed race white and Pakistani couple. Quite a difference. I was simply giving my experience as that exact white/Pakistani couple in your example. You can take it for what it's worth or not. It's of no interest to me whether you do.

Of course it is, no different from hair colour, eye colour or any other colour. It's just faux outrage, race card rubbish unless proof that it was said derogatively.

Yeah there is centuries of discrimination of people because of their eye and hair colour. Man those were terrible times

The ignorance of some people is astounding it really is.

What are you blabbering about. There’s nothing remotely racist about speculating whether two people (one white, one also as good as white but convinced in their head that they are “of colour”) might have a dark skinned baby or a light skinned baby. It matters not but in no way is it any different to wondering if they’re going to have a big nose, fat lips or blue eyes. Any specifically racist context is the important aspect here and there has been none. Show me some proof where someone has asked “so you think it’ll come out as a big dirty black ape” and then you can have your point. If not then this is a complete non-issue.

What? Her mum is black. She has afro hair she straightens. But you are telling her she isn't black enough to call herself black? I'm honestly lost for words. No wonder people lap up the Daily Heil and The Express gutter hate. There clearly is still a huge market for it. I've got 4 friends who are in mixed race relationships. I could probably make a joke with one of them about it because she's been a close mate for 30 years and we both have a similar sense of humour. I would never comment on it to the others. "So how dark do you think your child will be?" Why would I ask that? Why would anyone?

I like how white people who have never had to face real racism in their lives are the ones saying its a non issue.

Maybe your more suitably experienced wife can explain the difference to you.
Why do you think my wife is more suitably experienced to comment on a mixed race white/Pakistani relationship than me? Surely we would be equally able to comment on that exact relationship?

And you think I haven't faced racism from her family?

You're going off on a tangent now. We are specifically discussing white on brown racism. You are free to start a new thread and we can discuss there.

I'm sure the decades of racism you received throughout childhood and growing up are worthy of it.

You have consistently changed the goalposts since I replied to a question about a mixed race white/Pakistani couple with my real life experience of being in exactly that relationship.

But why is white on brown racism any more serious than brown on white racism? It's also not "your" thread so I'll feel free to reply in this one thank you.
