Quite!
I managed to get in a queue on Game and when it let me in the console links were broken just going round in circles on the site.

If it was me, I’d send it back and wait for a factory sealed console.I managed to get one when Game restocked on 3rd March, and it was delivered today.
Has anyone else received one from Game recently? On the order form in the box it lists the PlayStation 5 as “Mint” and the little round sticker has clearly been taken off previously (it wasn’t stuck down) so something isn’t quite right.
I appreciate they’re scarce, but it doesn’t sit right that Game appear to be selling opened returns as new.
Ah fair enough. Wonder why it was a return in the first place.I’ve sent customer services an e-mail, querying it and the price of the t-shirt, I’ll see what response I get, I’ll probably send it back, as having received it I’ve realised I’m really not that fussed.

Why would anyone buy a PS5, open it and then return it?
Especially when you could sell it on gumtree and make £200 instantly and if you are prepared to deal with time wasters and hagglers make £300 after a few hours?
Therefore it's probably not been opened if there were zero other signs.
Like did anything look opened inside or not packaged correctly? Could the seal just have not been properly sticky or come loose in shipping and stuck itself on after coming loose?
I would be baffled if it's a return and there's nothing wrong with it.
Faulty controller, returned and straight swapped. Game then replace controller sell console. Sure there are numerous other scenarios cables etc.
I'm guessing returning to retailer = full product swap within 28days(?) is it? Where after that go to manufacturer and they would, I guess would just ask for the controller. All guess work, I know Game are extracting every last £ while they are still afloat but surely even they wouldn't try to sell 2nd gear as new?Surely it's better to just send the controller back in that scenario or order a new controller and send the faulty one back?
Yeah it's a possibility but so is the fact the sticker could have been crap. I would be going on YouTube and looking at unboxing videos and then I'd open mine to see if anything was different.
Like missing packaging, things not in the right place or missing those metal cable tie wraps.
My PS5 is making ticking noise that is coming from the fan. Quite annoying as otherwise it is very silent. Anyone else here with this issue.?
Haven’t had that yet, but from what I’ve read some machines had issues with the stickers loosening, causing the ticking noise. My PS5 is making ticking noise that is coming from the fan. Quite annoying as otherwise it is very silent. Anyone else here with this issue.?
