AMD 6500XT / 6600XT / 6700XT

It doesn't say SAM enabled.

Ya but they are claiming its here.

95% a 6800, With 40 CU's and 2.45Ghz how?????????

I don't buy it, not even with SAM.

That benchmark suite has a lot of DX11 games in it that are CPU bottlenecked at 1440p and below on AMD hardware. This makes the 6800 look worse than it is in more modern games. I tend to prefer computerbase.de for their benchmarks because their performance rating charts can be modified with each of the games so if you think there is a large outlier you can remove it from the results that make up the overall average. https://www.computerbase.de/2021-02...st-2021/3/#abschnitt_benchmarks_in_2560__1440 this is their new benchmark suite and here is the 3060 review https://www.computerbase.de/2021-02...si-test/2/#abschnitt_benchmarks_in_2560__1440

As you can see here the 6800 is 65% faster than the 3060 not the 53% TPU report. Obviously this does not make the TPU data wrong but it is worth bearing in mind considering the majority of GPU intensive games are going to be DX12 or Vulkan.

EDIT: Also the Watch Dogs Legion results AMD got seem really odd because RDNA and RDNA2 seem to like that game and if the results AMD are showing are correct the 6700XT will barely outperform the 5700XT in this game.

Do you think the AMD store will stock these (6700xt) in the UK? I think I remember hearing about the uk store not stocking for future releases after the 6800 but now I cannot find that information.

Im quite keen to pick up a 6700xt on release for as close to retail cost as I can. A reference design is fine with me.

I'm wondering what price I should aim for as in, what max will I pay for one of these.

Like the newly released 3060 selling for over 500pounds (won't pay that).

So what board partners might sell this for 500 525? (in normal times). Buy it if its below 600 maybe? If not wait for santa at Christmas for prices to come down?

Anyone have idea on board partner prices.

@Gibbo you able to comment on Launch Stock for these? Also, considering Nvidia users where able to get on a pre-order queue to get a high end GPU and then the lack of the same treatment for AMD customers, with the lower tier card going to be less favourable for miners is there a chance we can have preorders as in theory shipments should be better for mid range cards

Compared to the Radeon RX 5700 XT with the same shaders count. :D

The 6800 is poorly performing for whatever reasons.

Not so fast.

The 6800 has 50% more shaders but the 6700XT boosts a lot higher, 2105Mhz vs 2581Mhz, that's a difference of 23%.

The 6800 sits between the RTX 3070 and the RTX 3080, the 6700XT is equal to the RTX 3070, right where you expect it with those numbers in mind.

RDNA2 has something rare these days, at least the 6800, 6800XT and 6900XT, huge overclocking headroom, they run at about 2300Mhz out of the box AIB ones get to about 2700Mhz OC pretty easily. about +18%

The 6700XT simply has some of that headroom baked in.

Yup, it was known that they'd be pushing the new 6700's just like they did with the 5700's. To hell with the power consumption eh ;)

230 Watt's, RNDA2 is an efficient architecture and Navi 22 is small enough to push it a bit harder without getting silly power draw.

This time its Nvidia pushing their GPU's hard to keep up. :)
