*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

For EVGA I'd definitely actively look for other sources or other options altogether. It's fair to say that EVGA have one clear favourite in the UK and it's not us.
Our EVGA supply has been sporadic and pitiful.

So I'm sitting in the 70's for my evga card, should I sit tight like @Gibbo suggested or should I get a refund since none of the card I ordered has been shipped since launch?

In another post I read recently Gibbo suggests you get a refund. EVGA have been very poor at supplying stock on new releases going back to the 9xx debacle. One company I steer clear with GPU's now having had one with a shocking cooler and a 2080ti where the GPU blew up and the chip actually cracked with the top corner coming off.

I just hope with all these stock issues, those still in a queue will get moved onto a 3080ti queue if willing to pay the difference. A little unfair to have to sit there hoping to beat the bots again!

Just my opinion but I think that given all the shortages of components etc, AIB's are going to move there production to the "upcoming" TI and newer variants of the 3080/3070. Then they can build cards with components that they will have less issues getting. Still won't help with the shortage of RAM and other key items but meh, who knows.
Highly unlikely but I agree

Hi, any update on shipping to ROI? It's mid-March, surly it is resolved, right?

Presuming there's no further update today, no. If your order was shipped at the start of January then it is basically stuck in Limbo. If you believe your order has reached the top of the queue and is ready to be shipped, or will do so soon, you have the option to contact customer service, have your VAT refunded and have your order delivered by DHL rather than DPD. This will mean you will have to pay VAT again at Irish customs, as well as an additional customs fee. OC are apparently still working on a solution for the original issues with DPD and if they can be resolved there is still a possibility of the orders being delivered with no additional charges or work required from the customer.

I'm confused too then, unless those were cancellations. From your queue number I could only imagine that you are waiting for a TUF Gaming non OC.
I was looking at cards received vs your queue number, less than 250 cards received in six months, over 900 ahead of you in the queue.
If all that is correct then my advice still holds true.
Yes I am waiting for that card you are correct. Well after reading what you said about cancellations I did actually look around and I just purchased a ASRock Radeon 6800xt OC for £1000. I know it’s cost more but at least it will be an end to it. I will cancel my order when it’s in hand.
Thanks for everything you have done and thanks for the advice.

I think at this point I would actually take a lesser card of any brand with no refund on the difference from OCUK, not actually had a working gaming pc for months :(

I'm waiting on a strix oc and im 354th, the thing is, sure i could cancel and get my money back but then nowhere else has stock and if they do it's gonna be 300 quid extra, and I'm still stuck trying to make do with a 1080 on 4k. I'm happy to keep waiting because i've been waiting since Oct 2nd i guess i'm lucky I still have access to a functioning pc rather than waiting for the final piece.

Thanks, I have no idea... Didn't receive any queue update since Christmas.

There's a customer service forum, use that to contact customer service. I did, had VAT refunded and moved to DHL, so when the card does come in there won't be any delays.
Thanks. Are you getting your weekly queue updates now?

Well, you can guesstimate based on Gibbo's latest update here: https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/t...ries-how-to-cancel-your-order.18899277/page-8

He posted a similar update in the same thread in January so you can make a rough guess of the rate of cancellations which should tell you if you at least have some chance of being at the top of the queue.

Also customer service can tell you exactly what queue position you are in, despite being on hold. We are not receiving updates but we are still moving up the queue. Basically, if we reach the top and we haven't sorted out delivery our card will be held until delivery can be arranged. My advice is just continue waiting unless you are at or around the top of the queue and don't mind spending €50 - €100 to get your card sooner.

I think anyone that didn’t order in September should cancel really. @Gibbo @ScottiB one of the cards with no queue is the 3080 vision? I know you’re “stockpiling” (for lack of a lesser word) stock of cards with no queue, would a paid upgrade to vision from eagle be possible?

I mean, I ordered 2 days after launch and I'm still 400 in the queue for the non OC TUF card so I'd imagine there are still people who ordered it on launch day that are waiting ahead of me in that queue. What a ridiculous situation!

The vision and eagle were pretty much the same price so I don’t see why it’d be a paid upgrade... don’t get me wrong I am happy to pay extra if I get my card sooner
