Blown away by it tbh, only have Ride 4 and Valhalla as PS5 titles - But the joypad features with Ride are amazing, and the 3D audio works with my Razer Thresher 7.1s from the PS4; and the sound is amazing!

Looking forward to trying more PS5 titles, but I refuse to pay 60 or 70 quid for them.

Got PS5+Spiderman coming from Amazon :D

Nearly got the Pulse 3D headset too, but that can be a future purchase.

All we need now are some games for the PS5 - after spiderman there isn't really anything out.

Grab yourself a PS+ sub and get 20 games via PS+ Collection. There is a ton of content there many of which are now PS5 enhanced. I am playing God of War and it is a stunning looking game on a big TV and 60fps is a nice addition.

Good to see more people managing to get their console sorted.

I've got PS+ sub already :D! I'll take a look.

I've also got GoW (ps4). If i install that, will it allow me to have the enchanced PS5 version?

I doubt there will ever be a need to unless you want something day 1. Most launch titles are already in the ~40 or just ~50 quid bracket for limited / ultimate editions. I tend to wait for sales anyway and there is always something in the back catalogue to (re)play on the PS5 while you wait.

Good times ahead! :)

My Resident Evil 8 pre-order was £59.99 so yeah more than I would normally like to pay. I'll finish it and trade it in hopefully get a decent amount back for it so the price will be easier to swallow. I am not prepared to go digital on those kinds of prices.

Finally i appear to have bagged one from Amazon. Console with UHD. Arriving tomorrow by 10PM.
:D
Nice

every time I check I seem to have missed them

I managed to get onto shopto a couple of days ago but there was a massive queue !

Smyths dropping next apparently

May look in to getting one of these Christmas this year, maybe stock issues will be resolved by then.

I only ever pay full price for games at the time of a new console release. When I received my PS5 back in November, new console, new generation - you betcha I'm happy to make a few full-price purchases.
Going forward I just continue to only pay when it's at a price I'm happy with. Got RE: Village on pre-order at £47. Nothing else at the moment, I'll wait for things to release and wait for a good price drop.

The last game I actually paid "release day premium" for (with the exception of the PS5 games on PS5 console release day) was Star Wars: Fallen Order.
However, I did so at the beginning of a weeks annual leave, so I resold it with only a £5 loss a week later.

Cheers.
I have been sat in Game, Shopto and Smyths queues before this. Like a kid in a candy store now. Just bought Dirt 5 for the PS5. Will just transfer some of my PS4 games over. Gran Turismo Sport, Spiderman, God of War and Red Dead Redemption 2 (which i never started). See how that goes.

Good luck.

Yeah, it's getting rather annoying seeing Sony desperately trying to push £60-70 as the new normal! I like the look of Returnal but I'll just wait until I can rent it or buy it 2nd hand. If it's something I want day one I can tolerate £40-50 but £60-70 is ridiculous money for a single game IMO.

I often wonder if it was worth me actually bothering with a PS5 as I've had it for basically 4 months and Demon's Souls is still the only exclusive title I've bought for the console ! There are other games I like the look of but not enough to rush out and pay £50+ for. Could be tempted by Resident Evil when it releases though.

how did anyone get one from Amazon today? I saw the amazon site update and change to "in stock" but I couldn't add it to basket. tried in Amazon app and in Chrome, neither would let me add it. refreshed a few times and still refused to work with a "something went wrong" error. Then after a couple minutes it pinged back to unavailable (and now it's listed as #1 best seller - despite not being able to buy one when it said in stock...)

I wasn't too fussed about getting one until Gran Turismo, but the lack of stock is perversely making it more appealing (fomo, i guess?!?)
