Yes, I am totally against the flipping. TBH nothing wrong with saving up, the 3080 is a big jump up from the 3070 as i am sure you are aware, while you can overclock the 3060ti to near the 3070. Nothing wrong with waiting until next year and the AMD 7000 series either. It should be a big increase and hopefully console sales will have about caught up with demand next year so AMD will be in a position to produce more 7000 series. I can see people selling their 3080 and getting a 7800xt next year. Frank Azor might even bet 10 dollars on that
 
After months of waiting I finally had my turn come round on Weds and bagged a 3080! After a Vega56 at 1440p it's a super upgrade. I did consider selling it on for a Pico second, but I'm a PC gamer not a scalper/trader. If this helps anyone on the hunt, this is what I did:

Installed Telegram on smart phone. Created account on the competitor website and saved password. Saved password for PayPal. When the alert for 3060 dropped I logged in and did captcha. As soon as 3080 link came in I was ready, but no buy button. Refreshed page every min or two patiently, not expecting buy button to appear. After a few attempts it suddenly appeared and the GPU god's answered

Just went to the homepage and was confronted with it, but didn't realise the 6700XT was today. I've got my FE luckily, just giving heads-up in case they dropped (sorry if I got hopes up guys)
