Trying to decide on a fun car for the next few years

Made my choice on a 2018 WRX STI in White with OEM accessories of front lip, skirt additions, rear bumper flares: (Google drive link, 'should' work to display image, as I made it public).

One thing, it's quick, but I also realized that it is 'harder to have fun', than compared to a hot hatch. Part of it is also me getting used to the different handling/mechanical characteristics of the STI. It's clunky and mechanical, vs smooth and nimble of my other cars. Steering response in corners (And I'm not pushing it at all yet), is way faster than I expected. I barely have to move the wheel to turn pretty tight.

Getting the windows tinted on April 19th. Never purchased tints myself before so I have no idea what to pick. Definitely won't be going too dark, as I have memories of trying to back up a show car I once owned that I couldn't even see out the windows at night lol.

EDIT: can't remember if I mentioned this and can't see it in thread. I test drove a 2021 Golf GTI S, and was very impressed with it. If you are in the USA and looking for a new car, seriously consider one of these. It's the last hurrah of the MK7.5 so it gets a few upgrades for free like the Golf R brakes! It is also heavily discounted ($3k less than MSRP for example). Heck of a deal for a car with 228hp and 258tq, and comes with nice features like Android Auto/Carplay for this model year. Only think to say is that whilst it was quick, it did feel a little lacking in feedback. Don't get me wrong, it was great, but I would describe it as 'refined' rather than hot hatch feel. I was VERY close, to the point I couldn't actually sleep at night trying to decide between the two. If the local dealer had the Golf in White rather than Black, I probably would have got the Golf.

After having had a few hot hatches and a STi, i very much felt the STi was a step up in all levels driving wise. The AWD was a gamechanger for me as the roads are frequently wet or muddy around here so being able to put the power down without spinning the sodding wheels all the time was a revelation.

I've driven a mk6 Golf GTI and couldn't have been less bothered by it, never even looked back at it, it was the dullest thing i've ever driven besides maybe an Audi A3.
