Graphics card prices?

That seems to be the pattern, although in theory it should be cheaper and faster. My 780 cost about £350. When that broke I bought a 1080oc and that cost £510. Waiting for my very expensive 3090.

AMD claim that they want to keep producing GPU and bring prices back nearer to MRSP, lets hope for people who wait they can get a gpu at a reasonable price at a later date

If you look at the RRP price/prices before the spike they were not that bad. i.e. compare your 1080c to a 3080 which was around 650-700 at launch? However with the recent price surges there has been a huge increase. Hopefully once the supply get resolved things will be back to some normality for next launch!

Yes but the AMD store doesn't allow UK people to order anything and they don't sell to UK because of Brexit, so no GPUs or CPUs for us at MSRP.

  1. Which countries does the AMD Store ship to?
    • US, Canada, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, and Sweden
    • We are temporarily unable to process shipments to the United Kingdom.

How can they ship to US and not UK?

I've seen this Brexit excuse for being unable to ship to the UK lots recently (especially for the Valve Index), but I've been able to order electronic goods direct from the USA, with duty pre-paid, and have them delivered in a couple of weeks with no problems.
We don't even have a trade deal with the USA. You'd think it'd be harder to import without a trade deal than with one!

AMD want to keep producing GPU so that AIB bring prices down as there is plenty of supply, sucks about the AMD store in the UK though

$2300 RTX FTW3 3080 in USA PC stores (remember Sales TAX to be added yet). So soon £2300 for a 3080 here.

My £235 Vega 56 can beat that 3080!

the brexit excuse again.
why cant you ship "brexit" yes but why "brexit" care to elaborate ??? "brexit"

its their tag line to get out of everything. i Kinda wished i spent the extra money to get my monster rig a whiel back instead of waiting for the 6800XT and 5900X. instead of a 5950X and 3090.

I hope this is true.. GPU inflation has been crazy for too long now. Supply increases will surely help bring prices down.

Why would you bother shipping to the UK if there are hurdles. Not like they're short of customers

then say that then, just be honest and say "we wont ship due to the extra customs costs due to brexit" rather than just claiming they cant because of brexit which is a flat out lie making it seem like they cant physically ship here.
