3080ti 3070ti confirmed for April

It is fairly impossible then without a bot doing the searching for you, bots don't just have to do the buying they are setup to do the online searching to see what is in stock and send alerts
Bot definition, "a software program that can execute commands, reply to messages, or perform routine tasks, as online searches"

Thanks for the lesson in what a Bot is.

I think it would be pretty weird to describe signing up for twitter stock alerts as using a bot, but each to their own, no point arguing over semantics.

The point is, why wouldn't you use these alerts if you want a card?

Some of us have never used a bot to buy a card, its fairly impossible to buy a nvidia fe at the moment without a bot. The only time was when 3090 stayed in stock for a few hours sometime back
You do not need a bot to buy an FE card. I bought an FE card off my mobile after a friend mentioned they were in stock......

The process is not so serene for everyone, else nobody would be complaining about stock shortages because they’d have bought their card of choice whenever they fancied it.

Which one though? The 3080 FE is usually gone in under a minute. The others have hung around for anything from ten minutes to twelve hours on previous drops.

Yeah 3080FE is the biggest silverback race for sure. The 3090 was only easier as people were rocked back by the brazen price statement. Due to this it stayed in stock long enough for people to whip out cards and fill in robo forms etc.

Im not saying that the process is easy for everyone. Just refuting his claims that you can't buy a card without a bot.

You didn't see it in stock to buy yourself, you got an alert like a bot does, just this time from a friend. Also I didn't say it was totally impossible without an alert bot, just fairly impossible. If it's easy then why are so many people a) complaining how hard it is to get an fe that isn't a 3090, b) paying scalper prices for 3000 series

I got one on my phone too after getting a push notification from the retailer.

The whole process was very similar to the, oh I don't know....THIRTY or so times I tried and FAILED in the months before.

That ONE time it FINALLY worked, it was easy, sure.

It was still mostly just luck.

It doesn't look good for those waiting for a 3080ti/3070ti.......here's the headline from a tech website this morning!

'The Purported 20GB RTX 3080TI may be scrapped, Nvidia repurposing to RTX 3090.'

its almost like sites are just making stuff up :P

The fact that Nvidia did build ga102-250 dies for a 3080ti and then just put them in the 3090 anyway is hilarious - they probably were planning a 3080ti so the rumours weren't totally wrong but it does make the 3080ti seem less likely

It’s irrelevant whether they produce one or not as like the rest of the 3 series they simply won’t be available to buy.

Absolutely zero need or space for Ti models at the moment, not to mention production capacity. Just wishful thinking from a lot of people I reckon.

Yeah I was in this boat, I figured I can't be arsed to fight for a 3080 and will just pay for the 3090 as "I can get one" instead of "maybe I can get one"
