todays price hike on 30 series stuff?

It's a real shame what the shops and retailers are doing, scapling us.

I paid £20 for headphones like more than one year ago and saw it in the big retail shop on Clearance for £30. I don't get how these earphones increased in price after 1 year.

Seems like too many rotten deals are around.

But the rtx 3080 has made me happy. RDR2 maxed out at 4k 120hz. This game is the best looking game I have played for for long time! It looks totally amazing. Totally different game at 4k than 1080p. Well worth it. :eek:

You don't understand global pandemic and worldwide container shortages

Everything will be more expensive thats imported not just for us but everywhere

the canal blockage will just make it worse Once everything hits the European ports the backlog will be massive again

I bought a box of nitrile gloves today that I use when spannering. Pre pandemic were 8 quid, today 25.
TBH I thought the end of the world would be far more exciting. I've got an anti zombie sword and a list of what order to eat the neighbours and everything.

We used to pay £2.20 a box for top grade medical bodyguard nitrile gloves as a supplier

Now you can't buy bodyguard at all and poor quality nitrile gloves cost me anout £8-10 a box

The European supply is chappy

I've scoured the net, I can find a 3060 for £900, a 3060ti for £1300 and a 3090 for £2700. We'll be laughing, remembering these days next year.

It's crazy, my local online store in the EU had some special stock of cards (AMD and Nvidia) the other day and they were all sold out in 2 minutes. I'm so happy I randomly found one for a good price last month, guess I had some good karma saved up.

just bought a palit rtx 3090 from a spanish version of the biggest online retailer

If it turns up and I pay vat its still a good price I did have to delve into google translate now and then

Im also enjoying red dead on my 3080 at 4k 120hz with hdr and vrr, it's a great looking game to sit back and relax on the 65".

If i can get a 3090/3080ti for near retail I will sell this 3080 as it's now worth £400 more than I bought it for.

Looks like I'll have to squeeze out what I can from my RX580 until further notice.. Or buy another and dabble with crossfire for what meagre frames that'll give me. Shame cos I'd buy a 3080 on the spot for a reasonable sum.

Why are OcUK putting GPUs on their site at £10k a piece periodically? I've noticed 30 and RX 6000 series cards on at that price now.. Is it a test prior to sale at their correct price or something?

To stop bots. There's a voucher released on the forum to bring the price down to normal levels.

6700 XT Fighter OC @ £449
and today Sapphire 6700 XT Nitro OC at £529 vastly cheaper than anywhere else and giving forum members a fighting chance against scalpers and bots.
