Battery vacuum (non robot) - Any good?

Just read about the anti tangle.. On shark

Gf has really long long hair. Does this actually work? It's always a pain having to detangle the robot vacuum I used to have.

Do you find normal + motor or full power. Ore useful?

Yeah it looked like it was stuck to the floor in the vid!

Yeah I'll generally just run it at normal with the motor going, only put the super sucker on if the carpets got furniture dents in it or something has spilled. Occasionally it's helpful when using the nozzle etc.

You can take the brush head out as well, then cut the hairs. You do need to 'unlock' it though, which is just a small then on the side with like a 2p coin sort of thing.

Vax came today. That motor head is strong!

Only had a 1 min play but seemed decent.
I can't imagine using it in normal power mode!
On the hard floors.

Not tried carpet yet.

Certainly looks nice

I went with the shark, I’ll report back when it arrives. Will be good to compare to my old gtech air ram.

This vax is pretty good! I definitely need 'max power' at edges. But just did the carpeted stairs and yeah probably took 5 mins (very dirty, been redecorating) and basically picked up more than the old cabled vacuum!

The big temptation with shark was the anti tangle. Would love to know if that works

Ah awesome, hope you enjoy.

We also got the extra tool pack that had the Flexi hose on etc.

For our first cordless vacuum I'm very impressed as you say. The only time I only have it set to normal mode is when hoovering crumbs or dust with the nozzle attachment.

What exactly do you get in this kit? I keep seeing these kits but all seem to have different components

Ummmmmmmm think its this mainly:
https://www.vax.co.uk/blade-toolkit-2

A different long nozzle with an extendable bit on it, which is also bendy (rubber), quite handy.
Extendable hose thing.
And some other thing.

TBH I've only used the bendable nozzle, just use that instead of the standard one. Was free, so can't moan.

Yeah that is the one. Agreed, the bendy nozzle looks like the main useful one

It's a little disgusting how much crap this vacuum is ripping up from the carpets. The mains one I had was obviously ****!
