I saw Halo MCC November update introduced cross platform play. Anyone tried it? I would love to jump into some BTB on any of the Halos for some laughs and social. I'm on signed in on XBL on PC so no issues there at least.

Everyone on console turns it off so they don't get stomped by cheaters mouse users, so you may find it hard to find a game using a mouse.

What's the plan? I would like to yes but will be approx an hour due to dinner time, but free after that. Don't make it change the fame you're playing if having me forces a different game. Is it best to message you on xbox later?

You were not online all of Saturday night.

I'm on 360 controller :D It's only RTS i use a mouse for, it's the wasd i can't be bothered to learn, mouse is fine.

I thought it was gamepads stomping kb/m due to aim assist, or has this been meganerfed now then?

Even with the aim assist pad users have no chance.

Strange. Haven't played/followed Halo in a few months now, but previously there were a lot of accounts where players who ran with both inputs reported higher k/d from gamepads. Allbeit strange, but i can believe it as when i played competitive a long time ago, i would occasionally be annoyed at the aim assist due to throwing off my 4th shot where another player would move close to the reticule, certainly strong. That was xbox days, but having played H2 vista on PC with pad also, i've personally never had an issue vs any possible kb/m players. I think when it comes to competitive Halo though, teamplay is #1 rather than 4shots everywhere.

These days i'm all about objective play, and warthog roadtrips, so not concerned myself.

I personally think it's just situational. Ranked doesn't have the playerbase to work so mixing up players is the only way i see now. Might have not been the case if MCC worked on release in 2014. Hundreds of people at least bought xb1 for MCC, including myself. Battled through the first painful years, but the player base dwindled. All that's left now is social, to which k/d doesn't matter imo.
