Intellimouse Pro Warranty How to Claim?

I purhcased this (Intellimouse Pro Special Edition) last year in May (so just about still in warranty). It's always been a tiny bit finicky, especially the left mouse button, but lately I've discovered that it's developed into a full blown double click menace that happens at random times. And this clearly isn't supposed to be like this within a year.

I purchased it not at OCUK, and am wondering if anyone knows how I should go about asking for an RMA on this for repair/replacement? I've tried going to Microsoft, but their site doesn't have any obvious way to request an RMA of their products. And the retailer appears to have closed their usual return window, but I am not sure if I should contact them and get them to do something about it, since it's in the 1 year period?

Anyone with any advice on this matter? Thanks. The retailer is the rain forest by the way, I hope that's not an issue mentioning here like this.

This link not help? https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/warranty

It then forwards you to a virtual agent, which I assume will eventually put you through to the right place or give you a number to call/raise some kind of ticket for you.

That virtual chat agent is a bot, who won't pass me on to anyone. That's the issue. :-/

:: edit ::

It'll just throw you back in a circle to the warranty page in short. Which says to use the bot again. Which is where I'm stuck on the Microsoft side. Hence the question.

Just in case it helps with anyone else in the same boat:

In the bot chat, type in: Mouse not working. When they ask if mouse is not working. Hit yes. It'll bring up the usual error check process. Click didn't help. This will then prompt it to give you the RMA form where you fill in your details then for the RMA.

It will not give that link (for RMA) to you if you mention warranty, RMA, fix, broken, faulty or damaged. And just say it's not what they cover instead and send you back to the start again.

Yeah, those sort of bots can be terrible. Glad you managed to get through to it through determination, thanks for coming back and providing your working for others to follow!
