Monitor UWHD resolution no available on Fury X drivers!

Hi guys,

I have installed a Fury X on a Ryzen 5 / B450 mobo and for some reason, my monitor UWHD (3440x1440) resolution is not supported according to windows and Radeon drivers. I can select 2k and 4k but not any ultrawide resolution. I have tried to set a custom resolution in the Radeon drivers but also get the message of not supported. I haven't had the same problem when I had the RX 570 in the system 10 days ago.

Any recommendations?

Are you using display port? Try hdmi if you are. I have an issue with my 5700xt displaying 4k over display port. Works fine over hdmi though.

I am using a 4k HDMI cable which was fine at the mentioned resolution & 100Hz with the RX 570

I will try a DP to check

Fury cards are only HDMI 1.4, so where limited to what they could do over HDMI.
I remember needing an active DP to HDMI adapter at the time to get it to do 4K @60Hz, with out one it would only do 4K @ 30Hz over HDMI.

DP should be ok.

I have tried the DP port and yes I could get the UWHD resolution but only at 100Mhz, not the 144 I get on my main PC. I guess a limitation of the Fury ports.
