I have just carried out a clean reinstall of Windows 10. My M/b is an ASUS Prime Z270-K with an i5 7600K CPU. The bundle was purchased and overclocked by OC UK a few years ago. I have not yet installed the motherboard drivers. Will updating the M/b drivers effect the overclock settings ?

Motherboard drivers contain various drivers for various motherboard devices. Not installing those drivers is just plain silly and there is no reason not to do it.

Did you overclock from BIOS? If yes, then no
If you overclocked from 3rd party software, again - no.
If you mean stability: it might even improve it a bit

The overclock was done by Overclockers UK when I bought the M/b, CPU, RAM bundle. No they don't give you a USB with the BIOS profile. So, if I am understanding you correctly, assuming OC UK overclocked the BIOS, the M/b drivers won't impact the OC settings .

They done it through BIOS. Drivers are for Windows ;)
