Just bought a 1080ti for £108??

Just went on a well known auction site and saw a founders 1080ti for £108, bought as fast as I could (obviously), and much to my surprise the payment went through and the guy actually has good feedback and card described as mint condition.

Who wants to bet it never actually arrives? :D

Yeah I'm thinking of all the steps I need to take to not be scammed... If anyone's got any suggestions I'm allllll ears.

I expect its just a case where the seller has put the wrong price in for buy it now and probs wanted the auction to just start at 108, so will probs just cancel it. As mentioned, his feedback is great - over 150 with no negative. And for sure if he'd been scamming then he'd have some neg which can't be removed

The guys had an account since 2006, I wonder if he's been hacked or something?

Should I message the seller or fleabay? Maybe they can track where the money is actually going and catch them?
No idea how this stuff works.

Always check out the sellers background and other items for sale etc.

The old saying - If it looks too good to be true, then it often is.
 
The money-back guarantee on eBay is good, you will get your cash back. You just have to wait for it to not arrive, start a case, which they may or may not reply to, and when that times out you can appeal directly for a refund.
 
Doing a quick reccy for 1080ti there were 4 under £110 two had been shut down as I clicked on them the other two are 10+ available. One of them the other item they are selling is a set of bra's!
Wait 5-7 days and watch the negative reviews come rolling in. Definitely dodgy/stolen/bought accounts.

Oh for sure. If a card of any type even actually arrives I'll eat my own head. If its a 1080ti that works ill eat my fiancé's head after I've eatten my own and legit become the queen of France.

When I was going through checkout I was calculating the chances the guy just
a) didn't have a clue how much they were worth
Or
B) realised made a mistake but would honour it anyway

As miniscule as those chances are still a much higher chance than finding a unicorn 3000 series :D
