It's good to see DLSS being added to engines other than Unity and Unreal Engine.

NVIDIA DLSS support will be added on top of NVIDIA Reflex, which is already available in Call of Duty: Warzone to lower the system latency of GeForce graphics card owners. The image reconstruction technology has recently seen a surge in adoption among game developers thanks to the official Unreal Engine 4 plugin. Later this year, Unity will also integrate NVIDIA DLSS into its High Definition Render Pipeline (HDRP).

Edit: Missed Warzone from the title.

The 970 is so old now, that even if you were a high school student when you got that card, you should now have a job and be able to afford a new GPU.
yes ive been trying to get a replacement since october but without getting pulled over and arse ****** over the price

10 series cards were not a massive improvement, 20 series were over priced trying to push rt with no suporting games so i thought ok the next release il get one if its a decent improvement and then no chance

1080ti was a beast of a card :p

Pricey at the time sure but things have gone very sour in that respect...

DLSS in in Cold War, are they finally bringing to Warzone? Awesome :D

Not sure I'd bother with DLSS in a twitch shooter like CoD. I'd prefer to lower detail and guarantee 144 FPS in order to have the best chance of not being annihilated by other players.

tried it this morning @ 1440p res and DLSS on quality, runs smooth as silk but may just be me or my ageing eyes but DLSS still looks like a blurry mess unless heavy amounts of sharpening are added. Never looks a sharp as the videos nvidia put out

You're getting more FPS in this case with higher clarity which should actually mean it's easier to spot people. I would agree when talking about settings that decrease framerate or add details that can get in the way, light shafts, thicker foliage etc.

It works great on call of duty cold war 4k 120hz.

Without DLSS frame rate is up and down a lot but with DLSS it's a solid 120fps max settings and looks and feels just as native. (No raytracing)

Nice, fair enough then. I have a 6900 XT so DLSS isn't an option, but at 1440p the framerate is almost locked at 144 so I figure I don't need it.
6900 XTis very fast in this game (COD Black Ops), especially when overclocked. You can hit 110-125 FPS easily at 4K native, Ultra settings with RT off. Modern Warfare runs even faster than Black Ops too. These games must love the rasterisation muscle of RDNA2.

DLSS only really looks good at 4K. I've tried it at 1440P and it always introduced slight blur which puts me off. It upscales from 1080P or lower so should only be used if performance is needed such as when RT is enabled.

I've been continually impressed by just how damn powerful the 6900 XT is after getting one. It maxes my monitor's refresh (144) in pretty much every game at max settings, which makes me wonder if I should've nabbed a 4K monitor instead. Anyway, good to know that CoD is performing well.
