I'm wondering how much compensation I can get for snags not being done.

You do realise there is a thing called a student loan and the only thing that is holding you back is your poor attitude?

You do realize you cant take out a second student loan?

Dont blame your ignorance on my attitude.

Additionally no employer cares the slightest bit about your education anymore, they want WORK EXPERIENCE only, and any 'training' has to be work related, not studying a course that no one will ever care about.

Already got 3 useless airy fairy BS courses / certificates from Jobcentre programs, employers simply laugh if they see anything like that written on a C.V and chuck it in the bin.

Wow - what a horrible, entitled attitude.

If you made as much effort into doing something useful, as you do into blaming others and trying to gain compensation - you'd have a painted bathroom and a job by now.

Define what 'doing something useful' that any employer would actually care about entails and how one can get onto it.

Or feel free to explain how 4 work coaches and 2 support workers have already told me such things don't exist.

Incorrect.

My employer requires a 2:1 in any degree, other than that as long as you're not completely IT illiterate then it comes down more to will you fit into the team and can you learn on the job.

Really? Because apparrently that kind of work is worth between £10k and a free house.

Whether or not it is is irrelevant to employers asking for a minimum of 2x2 years I.T experiences and references and dismissing any university qualifications as valid experience. And funny that this actually even is the case for college or university reception work.

"Every journey starts with the first step".

I'm not your employment coach. Really couldn't care less about your woes tbh.

I wish you luck in one day breaking out of this self-generated loop you appear to be stuck in.

'Thank you for attending your interview with the College for the role of Receptionist.

____ and myself had a very difficult decision to make after the completion of the interviews on Monday.

Unfortunately you were unsuccessful this time and this was due to the sheer strength on the competition. You came across as very approachable and well presented at your interview. We also felt that you had some good customer service experience which showed in your answers, however lacked reception experience which unfortunately the successful candidate had.

I would like to thank you once again for the time and wish you luck in securing suitable employment in the future'

College receptionist job that only required 2 A levels, my Uni degree and 6+ years of customer service including front of house greeting / customer service desk at the time were not enough experience.

I'm sorry, but you've started this thread asking how much you can swindle out of a houseing association. You're really not going to get much sympathy here.

1. You didn't state that you already had a degree, I'm not a mind reader.
2. If your existing degree is not a stem subject you can get student funding with the OU for one.
3. You stated that employers want experience and not qualifications. But courses give you experience and self taught coding, as an example, is experience too.

I am not being ignorant, there are many options into IT and I stated one. You need to dig out what options are available to you and try, it may seem like a huge hurdle but there are many options.
