What the hell has happened to overclockers? They used to sell at decent prices, now they have decided to become scalpers too?

£1200 for an rx6800xt is taking the **** and after 10 years of being a loyal customer i doubt I will ever use them again
And please dont say that's today's prices, and overclockers are getting charged a lot from their supplier, because when another big UK company that I guess im not allowed to mention gets them in each week they charge £750-800 for them.

Was bad enough when they were 900ish, now a few weeks later they've suddenly got even more expensive, probably the same stock that was left over as well. Farcical.

Well I have noticed they haven't sold out yet, which is a good sign, if they aren't selling out within minutes then the price is obviously high enough that people aren't falling over themselves for them, including the scalpers, I expect those prices will come down in which case, until they do sell, it's a balance though, you want the cards to sell well but you also don't really want them to sell out totally within minutes everytime you get some stock in.

My mate snuck into his local pc shop in hong kong and nabbed a Nitro for £770 .... i told him to buy a few ....

I don't get it .
Shop list A product and puts a price tag on it.
A customer comes along And buys it or not.
This is the real world.
Coming here crying for price To high is unreasonable, it makes you look like a kid who can't get candy.

You live is capitalist country, supply And demand .

On the other Side , price is ridiculous.

Part Of me believes We entering middle point.
Eth mining profits Going down roi going up and this thing is leveling Up.
Now we should Start going downhill .

How fast no one knows.

At £900 when I bought mine they were in stock for a while but did eventually sell out (or were pulled, who knows) so it may not be the case that prices drop.

Supply and demand innit - welcome to capitalism.

Good luck buying one cheaper elsewhere.

Yeah, it's like selling on the members market. You ask for x then drop the price every couple of days until someone bites.

Just lol at the pricing... Would be interesting to see what mark up they're making on these!

Well the same cards they had for sale a while back around 200-300 £ or so cheaper. Interesting to see how prices have "shot up" yet again in a matter of weeks.

Probably the same as what they were selling at prev - it's AIBs dictating retail prices, not OCUK.

OCUK aren't going to sell at a loss.

Got myself a nice LG 4K 144hz monitor and a new EVGA 750W BQ Bronze Semi modular PSU in anticipation of a new 6800XT purchase.

At these prices I’ll stick to my RX 580 for now, I was prepared to pay up to £ 650 ex VAT for a 6800XT reference card but I’m not touching them at these prices.
