Hi,

Just looking for some advice on upgrading my current setup with a budget of around £500-£750

Only looking to upgrade/change the following parts

- Case (Smaller if possible)
- new ssd/nvme

Would anyone be able to suggest anything at all please?

Thanks

Here's is one option you have scope to upgrade parts if you want to spend more to imprive the build.

What I'd get, an excellent build. Was surprised I could fit a 5900x in, but the price has nose dived over the last few days.

Thanks for the options/advice guys, would there be any real benefit changing the RAM or stick with what I have?

I'd stick with it personally, a 32 GB kit probably wasn't cheap. 3000 speed is generally fine. A 3600 CL14 kit would be faster, but you'd be paying £300+ for only a 1-3% improvement.

Stretching the budget a bit,

So might go with this,

I'm thinking about replacing my 2 x 24" monitor with 2 x 27inch, any recommendations based on the setup?

Motherboard is currently out of stock, what alternative would you suggest or maybe just wait.

Thanks

That motherboard won't fit the case as its ATX and the case only supports MATX.

Here's something that will fit.

Hi,

I'm thinking of going with this, but wanted to see if anyone could suggest any improvements etc.

Budget slightly changed as my son wants my old rig eventually.

1660ti will be used with this until I can get something better, so not sure how good the monitors will be.

Maybe the 5900x is overkill, I'm just trying to avoid having to upgrade anything in the long term, but happy for other recommendations.

Budget up to £2000

You don't really need a 5900, lower that down, also I think the AIO is bad if you are planning long term. I think you should focus on getting a better well built case considering you're spending a lot, a budget case does not feel right, and maybe increase your storage capacity? Like a 2TD nvme or SSD would be good.

Looking at your build your wasting money, especially buying new memory when yours is perfectly fine. You could also keep your psu and upgrade that when you get a new gpu. Just get 1tb or 2tb m2 drive and particion it to create 2 drives, the 5800x is more than enough especially gaming at 1440p.

Put the rest of the money to upgrade your gpu.
