1440P @ 165Hz. At 1080P I suspect DLSS would make it even more blurry.
Nice. Had a quick play at 4K last night and it does look good, although I have to use DLSS Quality to get decent enough frame rates.

Someone said disable VRS if using DLSS and that gets rid of the blur (I haven't tested this).I just played it on my 3080FE but apart from the shadows and GI I would honestly not notice much difference from the standard game. Framerate is around 85-95fps at 1440P Ultra without DLSS. Tried DLSS Quality but I can always notice the slight blur so disabled it again.

This was a choice they took, no one forced them to invest the time to do this. They’re probably doing it as a stepping stone to test out a new engine for their next game.
The problem this is not really an RPG,so it really lacks replayability once you finish it once.
A4 Games wanted this game on consoles, because there is a lot of money to be had out of console gamers, its a another and very large market section to sell more games into.
The problem is Exodus is packed with Nvidia's proprietary features which don't work on consoles, so A4 Games have spent the last year or more refactoring their engine to use AMD's approach and tech, because they have to to get it to work on consoles.
IMO this is a lesson for other devs, do you go down AMD's agnostic rout or Nvidia's proprietary rout and spend another year or two (with all the costs that entails) after PC release to get on consoles?
The former is far better for the gaming community as a whole.
What card do you have?Just fired it up, and it runs great for me, 3440x1440 UW, Ultra settings, Reflections on raytraced + Ultra RT, DLSS on Quality, and everything else on, Hairworks tessellation etc...., runs better than the original, the VRS was already on 2x, so i just left it at that, i did try with it off, and at 4x, but couldn't see any difference tbh.
I even tried the Extreme setting, but i couldn't see any difference from Ultra, so i just dropped it back to that.

It says 2070 Super in your signature, is that right?
Nice performance there with the 2070 Super.![]()
hAH!Ive now gone Extreme, and turned the VRS off, its fantastic performance
Only thing that bugs me is, when i fire it up, it changes all my icue lighting, and i don't use any lighting profiles for anything, i just have it on Spiral Rainbow all the time, yet when i fire this up, my pump head lighting goes out, my rams lighting turns white, and my radiator fans lighting also goes out.
It didn't had hairworks, physX and a lot of tesselation?
Or just stick to the older version.
An advice for Radeon owners, disable Nvidia bloatware and enable SAM => big win
