My shed of a 1978 Ford F-150

Well I certainly didn’t buy it for the comfort :p

This was 70m2 of grass which the forklift driver insisted would definitely be fine in one trip, despite quite a lot of it being wet. It wasn’t very far and I made it with no issues, but let’s just say I’m glad VOSA isn’t a thing here. :D

Having half-filled a wheelie bin with wet turf once (and then attempted to move it) I can say that this is absolutely not definitely fine.
Good work!

I then had to carry it by hand up the 52 steps through our forest area to its final destination. I actually tried using a wheelie bin but the steps were too steep for it, so by hand was the only option. Took two days and was the hardest physical thing I've ever done - the guy I hired to help me quit after about 3 hours. No idea how much it weighed in total, but I'd assume over a ton.

Turn the truck into a rock crawler with 1000lb/ft of torque for next time.

That sounds pretty arduous!

Finally got the LPG system serviced - slightly embarrassed how long it took me to get around to it, but I got there in the end I guess. While they were servicing it, one of the oil lines blew and sprayed oil all over the poor guys working on it, so that got changed too, along with a couple of air lines. It doesn't really feel any different now: it's had a low idle for quite a while, which apparently is because the carb needs to be changed / rebuilt, so that's next on the list.

It will surprise absolutely no one that I got pulled over for this effort below. Was a bit sketchy even by my standards, but the gate came up on facebook marketplace at a ridiculously good price on a Sunday, and I had no other way of getting it to my land, so I decided to risk it.

My risk paid off, as the officer was so surprised that I had a valid license, tax and insurance that he let me go with just a "be careful and don't go too fast". Virtually everyone who drives these trucks here doesn't have any form of documentation or insurance, so I think he appreciated my efforts to be at least somewhat legal.
