Renault have always been bad with delivery times for their RS variants (unless you are very lucky).
I ordered a new RS Clio way back and after almost 5 months, did not even have a build date! So cancelled my new car order and bought a pre reg from Renault Manchester two days later. Better colour (yellow), trade in, price and finance deal. And it's not the first new RS that I've had similar problems with, even though the RS specialist Renault dealer said "3-4 months" no problem. They all pretty much say what you want to hear and then don't give a toss once they have your order / deposit. One reason why I bought the I30N, was instant availability, picked up a week after test driving one. Actually wanted an RS Megane Trophy, but was given the usual run around when trying to order a new once.

so looking at another finance company as Renault will still give £2.5K as long as its a new car (does not matter which main dealer either!). So with £2.5K from Renault & £4K if I sell my existing Renault I am looking at £6.5K deposit which is pretty much 20% so as my credit is very good I can get a PCP deal which for only few hundred a month I could be driving one in a few weeks!
But still waiting for the onboarding for my new job to complete so cannot sign the finance paperwork until it goes through
& no Renault £2.5K deposit contribution either (although I expect the dealer is pocketing this instead
nice car otherwise if you have £36K cash!
