Might get Mass Effect, got Nectar points so would cost me £17 of real money. Then again, we all know it's going to hit like £25 used in less than a few months.

Yeah thinking about game, according to the tweet most were bundles, so I probably wouldnt have brought one if thats all they were, I am only interested in standalone. Also wont be buying from a scalper either.

I did contact most of the retailers yesterday most either didnt respond or just said they will only sell via the drops, however very have passed my request to management, and if approved will put in as a pre order paid up front. John Lewis have also escalated it.

I have Spderman Miles Morales on rent. Stuck the disc in and it said I could upgrade to the PS5 version, which I did. When it had finished I loaded it up and thought "this whole SSD speed thing isn't that much of a big deal" Turns out it was loading the PS4 version from my external drive

And people on the internets were laughing at Microsoft's Smart Delivery feature. That soon came to bite them on the arse! :D

Always amuses me when they're boasting about the PS5's noise level and then the disc drive decides to turn on.

Which is when the optical drive is in use (usually the cheap disks out of balance causing the noise rather than the drive itself) or a single, very slow spin every 1-2hrs of playing, which you simply do not hear (after the last software update).

Would you guys see 1080p as a waste for a PS5?

I currently have a 1440p monitor and obviously it is not supported so I was thinking of downgrading to the Benq Mobiuz EX2510. I can then use it with my PC and PS5 but just feel like I wouldn't be getting the most out of the PS5.

I personally would as I hate not getting the best out of something but if it doesn't bother you then go for it. You'll still get the benefit of frame rate boosts

I’m having to putting my XBSX through my amp which doesn’t pass through 4k….so I’m playing at 1080p to my Oled…

1080p, not HDR.

it’s fine, but I will upgrade the amp this summer to rectify it.

I binned my amp because of it. I'm not paying those prices to upgrade though. I Just bought a sound bar which is pretty decent for movies. I use headphones when I play something.

Why not connect direct to TV and use ARC to pass the sound to the amp... That's what I've done with the PS5, as I wasn't sure my amp would do 4k and/or the 120mhz refresh of my TV.
