Would love recommendations for a new mouse

I'm not very familiar with mice, I've only ever used razer gear for everything, and only used the razer viper (which was wayyyy too light), a small razer mouse, and the razer deathadder elite.

***no competitor linking please***

Great mouse that I used for over a year, but after it broke and I had it replaced 2 more times, the same issue persisted often and I'm wanting to move away from razer now.

I feel very uncomfortable doing so as I compete at a semi - high level in gaming, and really dont want to mess myself up with a new mouse thats way too different from my original. Has anyone got any similar recommendations to these stats?

Thank you so much for any help, greatly appreciated :)

If you're used to certain shape and size mouse, it's hard to say which mouse wouldn't need getting used to.
Would be really best if you could visit some shop.
Not sure if there are any sites comparing sizes and shapes of different mice.

And if you want guaranteed durability, that's tough order with "modern" mices using switches extremely outside manufacturer's specs:
Voltage and especially current are simply way too low to guarantee good "wetting" on closing of contact.
In fact switches are literally wrong for the low voltage and current conditions with general purpose design.
And then high polling rates and decreased debounce times in electronics worsen the vulnerability.
That can result double clicking etc issues quite fast when switch gets any slightest wear.

(D2F-01 designed for micro loads would be the correct Omron switch to use in mouse)

There is nothing else for me other than the Logitech G502. Superb mouse. Tons of buttons. I am on my fourth now I think although I replace them when they get old looking rather than broken, lol.

Logitech G Pro wireless
Had a G500 and a G502 previously. If you don't need all the extra buttons on the G502...the G Pro wireless is a much better mouse.

I'd stay away from logitech now they've gone bad quality and develop double clicks fast
I've had 2 g502 last few years both developed double clicking on 2 buttons within a year
I'll never buy logitech ever again their switches only last 6-12 months now

love my steel series rival 300 that took me buying and returning 4 mince before I found it

but not certain on the newer models

its all down to shape and feel tbh no one mouse fits all

I personally moved from a Corsair Dark Core RGB SE Wireless across to Logitech G903 which I love. So much better and great battery life.

just switched from Logitech to a razer basilisk v2, absolutely love it :D
Optical switches certainly can't cause electrical issues from contacts.
(though we have to see how well that extra part moving in optical detector path takes wear)

Such shame scroll wheel adjustment is in bottom.
Logitech's toggle button on top is such elegant.
Free wheeling is very good for normal use and web browing, while detents give accurate predictable operation for gaming.
Have to wonder if it's patented tightly, when others aren't using such.

My logitech g502 lightspeed has been working well since I've received it last year. I'm not sure how long it'll last though since I've read that the switches they use tend to develop double clicking issues (it happened with my G401 wired mouse a few years ago, but eventually fixed itself over time).

That is the one thing I miss about my G502. I bought a Ducky feather and it feels like forever scrolling down although I do like it apart from that. All mouse wheels should be like that imo.

picked up a endgame gear xm1 from Nicks B grade sale excellent little mouse with no fuss

Original plan was just to try it at the price but its now replaced my steel series rival for now

Logitech g502 so good I've bought the wireless lightspeed version its never let me down and has all the buttons I'll need.

Have a glorious model O, feels lovely in the hand but takes a fair bit of cleaning with all the holes in the body. Previously had (and loved) the G403 hero too.
